The biggest thank you to Kjemal and his partner for an excellent experience with the move! They were on time, professional, and even kind during this stressful time. All of my items were packed efficiently and safely, and they were speedy at the origin and destination locations. They followed all precautions well and I did not have to stress about anything. The wardrobe boxes were an amazing addition, and they placed all of my items where I would like them. They were very attentive, and checked in with me throughout the whole process to make sure everything was accounted for and matched my prefences.

I would highly recommend Otter Moving as well as Kjemal's team to anyone and everyone. I will definitely be using Otter Moving for all my moves in the future.

I truly could not have made this move happen without their help. Huge thanks to Viktor and Angel on truck number 41. I still can’t believe how they managed to lift and move my heavy desk, sofa, and mattress almost entirely by themselves. I couldn’t even lift some of those items for one inch on my own. They were incredibly strong, professional, efficient, and careful throughout the entire move. Show up on time and able to manage everything! It honestly felt like they had superpowers. We recently moved to W 57th Street with Otter Moving, and Peter and Mico from Truck 57 were absolutely incredible. They were professional, friendly, fast, and extremely careful with all of our belongings throughout the entire move. Everything was handled smoothly and efficiently, and they made what could have been a stressful day feel easy and organized. We really appreciated their positive attitude and hard work. I had a wonderful experience with Otter Moving and Storage! My quote was very affordable and Alex (the employee I was in contact with) went above and beyond to make sure I wasn’t being overcharged for anything. The movers were nice and incredibly fast and nothing was damaged or broken.

After seeing so many horror stories about a certain pink, bakery themed moving service, I was nervous about finding a reputable, ethical moving company and I’m so happy I found OMS! I’ll definitely be using their services in the future.

Haven't had to move apartments in NYC since coming to the city in 2016, so I dreaded the thought of having navigate the intricacies of the moving process. The team from Otter made this move easier than I expected. The communications from Peter were clear and concise for follow-up. Boris and Djordje, my moving team the day of, did a great job managing a move from a walk-up apartment in a busy Manhattan neighborhood. They were able to move around the tight corridors and corners carrying relatively heavy boxes and furniture and kept everything in great condition even in the rain! Appreciate their efforts on this holiday weekend, thanks for making it so pain free! Would use again in the future.

Outstanding moving service! The entire process was incredibly smooth and efficient thanks to Peter and Sebastian. They did an impeccable job, took great care of everything, and maintained a fantastic attitude from start to finish. I want to give a special shout-out to Peter—he is an amazing person, extremely hardworking, and incredibly honest, which is exactly what you want when trusting people with your belongings. It's rare to find professionals this dedicated and trustworthy. Highly recommended!

I cannot recommend Otter Moving highly enough. I needed them to move a myriad of extremely large, unwieldy, fragile and abnormally heavy items out of our UWS apartment; then head downtown to an old walk-up to carefully pack a rare and delicate twelve-foot-high antique mirror and haul it down multiple steep flights of absolutely hazardous steps; then drive all of it 90 minutes north of NY on the Friday afternoon of a holiday weekend; then unload it all at a rather complicated location where they placed everything where asked and meticulously unpacked and situated the tall vintage mirror atop yet more steps. It all went more smoothly than I dared hope or expect.

I was fortunate enough to be assigned Sloba and Petar, Crew #32, who arrived right on time; were extremely polite and friendly; were respectful and careful with each item; were diligent in every respect, and accommodating with last-minute changes. Bryan, who was my Moving Consultant, was genial and attentive during each of the multiple interactions I had with him in the days leading up to the Move, including checking-in with me during the Move itself to ensure all was running smoothly. Together, they all made the entire dreaded event an absolute pleasure and I will without doubt employ them again in the future.

Do not hesitate -- just use them!

Stefan and Marco were truly amazing. They helped us move from Astoria, Queens to our new home in New Paltz, and we couldn’t have asked for a better duo. From the moment they arrived, they were professional, efficient, and handled everything with great care. They worked quickly while still making sure all of our belongings were packed and moved safely. Their organization made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free, and their friendly attitude made a long moving day so much easier. We really appreciated their hard work, positive energy, and attention to detail. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and hardworking moving team!

It has been our fourth move in 10 years and it's been the only time that i have things broken, but not only glasses and mugs, but lamps, decorations, furniture- the wooden legs of my table where broken which talks about the careless handling of my things. Even one vintage furniture that I payed EXTRA to get caution for it was damaged.
The packing team in NY was ok but since minute one the person in charge was specifing me that usually the tip ranges from 15 to 20% which btw is false but the fact that he mentioned it before even finishing the job was outrageous. I did ended up giving this amount just so I had my stuff taken well care of, which was so delusional of me.

The worst part was after the packing- so the estimated time that I was told was between 3 and 10 business days, although they swore that it would be shorter than this ( which it wasn't) but after the packing ZERO follow up was made from their end, zero info of where my stuff was, of when was it going to be shipped etc, my husband needed to call daily to have some kind of answer and they where super un professional at the phone, telling him at first that the truck already left NY and then the next day they weren't sure so this was a nightmare.

When our things arrived 10 days after, was the worst service, the guys where complaining all the time that there where a lot of boxes, then they just threw literally everything in my living room and didn't event finish assembling the furniture, they handled my things poorly and just wanted to get out of there.

So bottom line, I know the estimates are more competitive than other companies but you get a terrible service for that saving, and the worst thing is all the broken / damaged things that you loose for ever.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND OTTER! go somewhere else if you have things you care for.

Borut and Dwayne were amazing! They were very professional, quick, and very careful with all my boxes and furnature. It was a very hot day and they were still so positive and in good spirits lugging heavy furnature around. Communication prior to the move was great as well. I had to add and remove things a couple times and there was never a problem with the process. Id recommend otter moving to all my friends and family and definitely use them again!

Moving is general is such a daunting event. When i was searching for a moving company, a few different companies popped up in my algorithm. I eventually and undoubtedly chose Otter Moving & Storage. The initial call with David really put me at ease and I did not feel pressure to have to commit. He was readily available if I had any questions regarding the move and gave clear answers. On the day of the move, it happened to be the hottest day of the year so far! Danny and Juan arrived about 30 min early and got straight to work. Very efficient and took care protecting furniture. Unpacked at destination within about an hr and half. Huge shout to Danny and Juan for hustling in 95 degree temp. So grateful to them. Highly recommend Otter Moving & Storage and , if needed, will use Otter Moving & Storage again! Thank you!

I needed last minute moving of furniture into a storage unit, and luckily came across Otter! They were super fast at responding and getting a quote for me. Super reasonable price (best price I ever received) moving a whole apartment worth of furniture from LIC to Long Island. The movers Rocky and Matt (truck 011) were the best. They showed up on the early side of the time window I was provided. Super kind and attentive. Taking the extra steps to individually wrap and box up pieces to ensure they don't get damaged. Couldn’t recommend them enough. Will be using again!
