#32 crew 32. GENUINELY THE BEST CREW IN THIS ENTIRE WORLD! I had SOOOO MANY PROBLEMS with my move out. My pick up and drop off locations all were being super difficult but they were the most patient crew in this ENTIRE WORLD. SO EASY TO COMMUNICATE WITH. they started from 5pm to 11:21pm. Genuinely could never ask for a more supportive team. Honestly recommend to every single person! Much love!

Truly couldn't recommend Otter enough, and I had a great experience with them before and during my move. Easy and fast communication, clear and up front pricing, and a seamless experience on move day. Thank you for making my move stress free!

I couldn’t recommend this company more oh my GOD!!!! Trust me, they are worth every single penny. From the communication from beginning with Tom; to punctuality, from care… I’m truly blown away. The movers are truly what took it over for me - they are SO fast; SO diligent; SO professional and SO helpful. Thank you Peter; Sebastian; and Gio!!! I feel dramatic but truly look no further. I tossed between a few companies and I’m so glad I went with otter.

Vuk and Alex from crew 32 were the best. They moved my stuff into my apartment from storage. There was some confusion as some things were brought that I request be disposed of but they were very accommodating and took care of it without question.

Thanks to Viktor and his colleague on truck 41 for handling my move! Everything arrived in pristine condition, and a minimal increase in the quote cost was applied, but that falls on me.

Overall, an incredibly friendly team, safe handling, and no stress throughout.

I honestly cannot thank Shawn, Mika and Manny enough for helping me with this move. I was in a terrible situation with a bright PINK competitor of theirs who was trying to charge me 3x the amount for an interstate move and honestly Shawn SAVED me. The other company made it so difficult but the guys from Otter were able to collect my belonging from New York, bring it to Chicago earlier than expected even with my missing the email that said they’d be delivering on time. Mika and Manny were so quick at unloading and moving my large items around it was unreal.

Rocky and his team are amazing !! Truck 62- they were quick, efficient , and took apart everything and put it together in no time , really and truly Amazing work.

Hopefully I don’t need to use movers again for a while lol but will definitely recommend them for anyone who is interested

My experience with Otter Moving Company left a bad taste in my mouth and ultimately felt like a bait-and-switch.

Joshua, the representative who initially assisted me, was absolutely great to work with. However, important details I discussed with him were not accurately reflected in the moving agreement. I specifically explained that the mirror was attached to the dresser, but it was not listed, which later became an issue. The original price also included approximately 15 additional bags, boxes, and bins, yet I was later charged extra because the company claimed those items were never listed.

There was ongoing confusion about the pricing, and even after changes to the move and address, I was still given the same price without a reasonable explanation. Overall, it felt like the initial quote did not honestly reflect what I would ultimately be charged.

The movers themselves did not seem particularly appreciative or courteous until we actually gave them a tip, even though we intended to tip them regardless. Basic professionalism should not depend on receiving a tip upfront.

To make matters worse, neither of my two mattresses was wrapped or properly protected during the move, which should be a standard part of any professional moving service. I did not feel that my belongings were handled with care.

Although Joshua was pleasant, the inconsistent pricing, unexpected additional charges, lack of transparency, and poor handling of my items made the entire experience feel more like a money grab than a professional service. I would not recommend Otter Moving Company.

Kemo was super friendly and efficient! It was incredible, he got my entire apartment loaded up in the amount of time it takes me to get off the ground. Pricing was super affordable as well! Will absolutely be using Otter for any future moving needs

These guys can move. Like really move. Fifteen boxes, bed, multiple pieces of furniture (large ones at that , and they soldiered through the afternoon, ferrying boxes with time spared for a comforting joke. Definitely the best moving service I've dealt with to date and one I certainly reach out to again! Truck #58 knows how to come through when it really counts

Fast, effective, reasonable, and friendly. The booking process was smooth and I’m so glad I was working with a real thoughtful person instead of someone trying to upsell me. (In the week after I booked this move I got 5 spam calls from their pink competitor.) Thank you!!

Excellent job. Crew came on time and handled everything with care. Disassemble and reassembled everything quick and easily. Really pleasant and respectful group. Top quality moving and would definitely recommend them to others. Would use again 👍!!

Just completed my move with Otter over the weekend. The whole process from start to finish was fantastic. Mike at sales was quick and accurate with his quote, and Truck 9 with Dane’s crew was amazing. Dane and his team were the best movers I’ve ever had. They moved everything with care and efficiency. On the day of the move there were a handful of items that were missed on my quote (my fault), but Dane was quick to get the quote updated and still complete the move for us.

Without question, I will always recommend Otter for moves.

Tom & Miro— ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Otter Moving, especially Tom and Miro. They were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They actually showed up early, which was a huge plus since I was traveling from Long Island to Jersey. They were quick and efficient without making me feel like they were rushing or being careless with my stuff.

Tom and Miro were both incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire move. The amount of stuff I had was honestly ridiculous. Yet, they managed to basically play Tetris and get everything into my storage unit.

They also helped me pack up my car, which I really appreciated. They were careful with everything, worked so well together, and just made the whole moving process much easier.

I would 100% recommend Otter Moving to anyone who is looking for movers.

The #58 crew lead by Julian were really professional and went above and beyond helping with moving some unlisted smaller items. In my case, they helped me move my aluminum racing simulator that included 3 monitors, a seat and the rest of the equipment.

I want to provide an update to my original review because Otter Moving Company did ultimately address and resolve the issues I experienced.

My initial experience was extremely frustrating. There were several problems with the move, including items being left behind, discrepancies with the inventory, furniture damage, and items not being properly handled or assembled. I was very disappointed because I have used Piece of Cake Moving Services in the past and never experienced anything like this.

However, I do want to give credit where credit is due. The company stepped up and worked to resolve the situation, and I appreciate them taking my concerns seriously instead of leaving the matter unresolved.

I also want to specifically recognize Kemo and his team. They did a great job correcting the issues and making sure everything was properly taken care of. Their professionalism and effort made a big difference, and I appreciate the work they put into fixing the situation.

While the initial experience was definitely not what I expected, I am glad that the company ultimately made things right.

Thank you to Otter Moving Company for addressing my concerns, and especially to Kemo and his team for doing a great job resolving the situation. I believe it’s important to share both the negative experience I initially had and the fact that the company followed through and corrected the problems.

I had my things in storage for about a year. And when I realized I needed to get them out Simon and his team worked with me to find the right day and time for them to deliver everything. When the day came all of my stuff (couch-put together, bed and bed frame, put together, dressers) was unloaded and put together within a half hour of them arriving. It was amazing.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Otter Moving Company! They made our move so much easier by stopping at two different locations and handling everything with incredible care—all for a very reasonable cost.

The entire team was extremely professional, efficient, and thorough. They individually packed our belongings, carefully wrapped everything, and made sure nothing was damaged or broken. You could tell they genuinely took pride in handling our things carefully and never rushed the process.

They also communicated with us throughout the move to make sure everything was placed exactly where we wanted it. One of my favorite details was that they labeled the boxes, which made it so much easier to find what we needed once we arrived.

I highly recommend Otter Moving Company to anyone looking for a reliable, careful, professional, and reasonably priced moving company. They truly went above and beyond, and I would absolutely use them again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Blazo and Boyan were an absolutely amazing crew on what was a very stressful moving day. They were kind, efficient, professional, and had such a positive attitude that they made the entire day go as smoothly as I could have imagined. We couldn’t have asked for a better team. When we move again, we will absolutely use Otter again. Outstanding service from start to finish, and most importantly, an incredible team of movers. Highly recommend!

Update 8/21:
I used Otter moving and again they are awesome! Vuk & Alex were very professional and even offered to do the move despite the building elevator not working. Luckily it was fixed before they started and they were able to use it. I highly recommend using Otter moving, they are 2 for 2 so far with amazing service. Very quick, very professional, very accommodating!

Received great service from Otter Moving. They were able to arrive early despite the snowstorm we had the night before. They moved things quickly and efficiently. They were very patient as i had to reschedule a few times. Will definitely use them again!

I had Vuk and Alex for my move this week and they were awesome! Super friendly, professional and efficient. All items were transported properly and dropped off neatly. Very happy with the overall service they offered as well as Miles on the customer experience team!

Vlad and Milan from crew 63 came to our walk-up apartment on a busy street in Astoria Queens last week to move us into our first home, and my husband and I are still talking about how amazing they were. Not only were they kind and friendly, but they were total pros. We were so impressed by how hard and efficiently they worked. They showed up right on time (early, actually!), had everything loaded into the truck within a couple of hours, and unloaded everything at our new home even faster, all without a single issue or any damage.

Otter offers the option to have movers pack and unpack for you, but we wanted to pack ourselves and have them handle the heavy lifting and moving. It worked out perfectly. It was also so convenient to have the bins, packing paper, and zip ties dropped off a week in advance, and then have the week after the move to unpack at our own pace.

I cannot recommend Otter enough and will continue telling everyone about how great Vlad and Milan are. They made such a big day go incredibly smoothly, and we couldn’t be happier with our move. Thank you, Vlad and Milan!

My out of state move was great! Everything went smooth. My furniture was wrapped and assembled upon delivery. The company was very organized and all of my stuff was bar coded and checked off as it was delivered. Would use them again. Fair price and great service!!

Vuk and Alex (truck 32) went absolutely above and beyond when they helped with my move this past week. They were so kind, so professional, and solution oriented for any hiccups that came up along the way. I truly cannot thank them enough for their help!

We’re otterly impressed by the efficiency, professionalism and friendliness of Otter’s personnel and overall service. Every touch point - from planning to execution was met with careful attention to detail and plenty of patience. Our movers, ‘Lucky’ and ‘Happy’, made moving heavy items look easy and fun, albeit from a fifth floor walk up. They were amazing and were careful with handling all out furniture! Can’t recommend the team enough. 11/10 experience!

Good service for our move from Brooklyn NY to Washington DC. All of our stuff arrived in tact and the process was as smooth as could be hoped for. Haris was professional and communicative throughout the process and was also very accommodating to help resolve a slight mishap caused by our destination building.

We used otter to move from queens to Long Island. They were really professional and quick. They came within the assigned moving window time. They were very friendly, fast and careful. They packed our kitchen with care. Also disassembled the furniture and reassembled for us at the new home. Very happy that we chose Otter. Highly recommended!

Do not believe the 5 stars, this was the worst move of my life and I move a few times a year. The packing was pathetic , with literally a pillow and blanket in multiple boxes. Not to mention’s they tossed live plants in boxes, killing them all and getting wet soil all over other items. Price went from 3k to almost 6k and I still had to hire another company because they didn’t even get half of the house. Then they had the nerve to demand a tip, I literally had to tell them to leave my home multiple times after they kept trying to force a tip. Speaking with the company now and they are trying to shift the blame on me. May update if this issue is resolved.

I had a fantastic experience yesterday with Luca and Henry from truck #44! They arrived right on time and moved everything so quickly and efficiently. There wasn’t a single scratch or dent on any of my items! I would absolutely hire them again and would recommend them to anyone. Honestly 10/10 and best moving experience I’ve had in NYC.

Peter and team 57 were fantastic. They showed up on time and got to it almost immediately. Throughout the process, they checked in with us several times, made sure everything was packed, and did a final run through before closing up the truck. Once they got to our new place, they got things unloaded and put into the proper rooms and rebuilt the furniture they had disassembled during packing. Peter and his team even helped us move the bedroom furniture around after it was already set up.

Also, Novak was a fantastic coordinator and was extremely helpful during the process. Sam and Alex were also great when Novak was unavailable. All in all, fantastic experience with otter. They were definitely worth the cost for the peace of mind.
