I went with Otter Movers~ they were so fast (early!) & competitively priced! I just had one large piece of furniture. Booked & moved same day! Sales agent / manager Hans and movers Brandon & another were professional, nice & very efficient! I was not even asked for a tip, so giving one actually feels like an act of kindness & appreciation. Would definitely book with them again!

The best moving service i’ve ever used. I booked last minute because the original company I had booked cancelled on me 4 days prior to my move with no notice or reason. Otter Moving and Storage was not only able to get my move scheduled on the day and time that I preferred, but also able to offer me a great rate, even though it was a last minute booking. Customer service was amazing and they were so helpful through the whole process. The movers showed up on time and worked at a fast pace while ensuring all of my belongings were protected. I was truly shocked at how quick they were, even in the heat we’re experiencing. I’m glad I found an amazing company that I can trust with my future moves. I couldn’t recommend them enough!
Amazing service. Will definitely be my primary choice for any moving job. Everything was smooth, professional. Mr. Shawn was very understanding and made sure I was set. The 2 movers that were assigned to me were Louis and nemanja. Let me tell y'all something, for a last minute move in this horrible cold weather, these 2 were amazing!!!!!! You can tell they worked with their heart. I didnt need to lift a finger. They came in, and started right away. And they worked with such grace and kindness. Im so grateful to them. Overall, I had a great experience with Otter. First and foremost: fair pricing compared to the other companies. They were flexible about changing my move date at the last minute, quick (under 2 hours from start to finish), and nothing broke. The only negative was that my clean items got dusty during the 30 minutes they spent in the truck. But I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
It’s no surprise at all that they have a 5 star perfect rating. Daniel and Josue were huge helps. They were super fast, really nice, and took great care with our boxes. They were both an amazing example of professionalism and going above and beyond!
From start to finish, everyone at Otter was quick to respond, very friendly and very helpful. We had to book kind of last minute which was stressful, but their fast responses were a huge weight off our shoulders. Could not recommend them enough.
Incredible. I am so glad I trusted in Otter for my move. I was so nervous as these are my things from my whole life moving from one city to another and they handled it with grace and great energy the whole time. I have nothing but great things to say about this company and how they handled a very long day. They arrived at 7:10AM and helped with wrapping big items like big mirrors and TV's. They have boxes if you need to wrap last minute things as well. My advice would be to make sure your list for what items you are packing are as close to what is going on that track so you don't charged for extra items.
I booked Otter to move my most precious possession, an upright piano, plus of course furniture and boxes. Vlad kept me updated on timing the day of the move (and before as well), the guys were very professional and wrapped my piano like a baby and moved it down 1 flight of stairs! Wrapped all my furniture and even took last minute items, which helped! The move went smoothly and they were fast and friendly. I would use them again in a cinch! But hopefully this is my last move :) Plus, it's a small company and they can definitely use word of mouth to grow their business and compete with larger companies. Very happy with all of it, piano unscathed!

MJ and Z worked efficiently, handling our belongings with great care. They ensured everything was packed securely and in an organized fashion. Everything was transported from NYC to Maryland safely. Even with some last minute requests, they were very accommodating.
Communication was excellent throughout the entire move as we had direct access to them via phone and we spoke throughout the trip down. It's rare to find a team as cohesive and as professional as what we were able to have in MJ and Z. We highly recommend this moving company for your moving needs, be it short or long distance.
Samuel, with truck #2 saved my life!!! I had to set up a same day over night move at 6pm. I thought it wouldn't even be possible but he made it easy! They were lightning fast, and made sure everything was handled with care. Seriously, I can't recommend them enough. If you have to move, choose Otter, and ask for Samuel!
We hired Otter to dismantle a bookshelf with glass shelves and ship it along with a set of nine fragile pieces of pottery, and many very heavy boxes filled with books from Brooklyn to East Hampton. It was short notice and timing was somewhat urgent for us. They were punctual, prepared, extremely careful with the the fragile pieces. They arrived at East Hampton on time and delivered, and set up everything without a hitch. They were very courteous and professional. We highly recommend them. In fact, I've just hired them to move some more things for me.

wanted to write a review for them even though the move hasn’t happened yet. my property management gave me a lot of trouble with the COI preventing the movers from coming in, possibly delaying the move by days, but Vlad personally is doing everything he can using all the resources he has to push this forward, like moving schedules for the next day.
there’s definitely a personal touch to this company and they really care about you and treat you like a human. transparent pricing. everything. i can’t say enough about how great they’ve been throughout the process. part of me hopes they don’t get too big because that’s when companies usually lose that personal touch, but i will only recommend this place if you’re moving in nyc.

I had recently tee'd up Otter moving with the representative, Mark Jovanovic. He was so up front with quote and pricing, it was great. The whole experience was friendly and professional. I unfortunately had to cancel last minute and feel bad. The company still refunded my $50 deposit! I will definitely book them again when I'm ready to move.

Moving is always stressful, time-consuming, and often expensive. However, if I had known about Otter Moving earlier, I could have avoided all the issues I faced.
