I honestly cannot thank Shawn, Mika and Manny enough for helping me with this move. I was in a terrible situation with a bright PINK competitor of theirs who was trying to charge me 3x the amount for an interstate move and honestly Shawn SAVED me. The other company made it so difficult but the guys from Otter were able to collect my belonging from New York, bring it to Chicago earlier than expected even with my missing the email that said they’d be delivering on time. Mika and Manny were so quick at unloading and moving my large items around it was unreal.

These guys can move. Like really move. Fifteen boxes, bed, multiple pieces of furniture (large ones at that , and they soldiered through the afternoon, ferrying boxes with time spared for a comforting joke. Definitely the best moving service I've dealt with to date and one I certainly reach out to again! Truck #58 knows how to come through when it really counts

Tom & Miro— ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Otter Moving, especially Tom and Miro. They were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They actually showed up early, which was a huge plus since I was traveling from Long Island to Jersey. They were quick and efficient without making me feel like they were rushing or being careless with my stuff.

Tom and Miro were both incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire move. The amount of stuff I had was honestly ridiculous. Yet, they managed to basically play Tetris and get everything into my storage unit.

They also helped me pack up my car, which I really appreciated. They were careful with everything, worked so well together, and just made the whole moving process much easier.

I would 100% recommend Otter Moving to anyone who is looking for movers.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Otter Moving Company! They made our move so much easier by stopping at two different locations and handling everything with incredible care—all for a very reasonable cost.

The entire team was extremely professional, efficient, and thorough. They individually packed our belongings, carefully wrapped everything, and made sure nothing was damaged or broken. You could tell they genuinely took pride in handling our things carefully and never rushed the process.

They also communicated with us throughout the move to make sure everything was placed exactly where we wanted it. One of my favorite details was that they labeled the boxes, which made it so much easier to find what we needed once we arrived.

My out of state move was great! Everything went smooth. My furniture was wrapped and assembled upon delivery. The company was very organized and all of my stuff was bar coded and checked off as it was delivered. Would use them again. Fair price and great service!!

Good service for our move from Brooklyn NY to Washington DC. All of our stuff arrived in tact and the process was as smooth as could be hoped for. Haris was professional and communicative throughout the process and was also very accommodating to help resolve a slight mishap caused by our destination building.

Peter and team 57 were fantastic. They showed up on time and got to it almost immediately. Throughout the process, they checked in with us several times, made sure everything was packed, and did a final run through before closing up the truck. Once they got to our new place, they got things unloaded and put into the proper rooms and rebuilt the furniture they had disassembled during packing. Peter and his team even helped us move the bedroom furniture around after it was already set up.

Also, Novak was a fantastic coordinator and was extremely helpful during the process. Sam and Alex were also great when Novak was unavailable. All in all, fantastic experience with otter. They were definitely worth the cost for the peace of mind.

Peter and team 57 were amazing! They helped with our move from ny to nj and made it stress free. Novac helped with the details and preparation while reassuring us of any concerns we had. Overall, Otter has been very kind, patient and helpful. I would highly recommend this company and this team to anyone needing to move!

Had a great experience moving from NJ to NYC with Otter. The pricing is very transparent and reasonable, and I was able to update my inventory list multiple times before the move and on the day of. The movers efficiently moved my items, provided special boxes for fragile items, and handled all of the moving logistics. Highly recommend!
Truck #26 was a great team!

I decided to try a local company when moving from my storage unit on long island to Orlando. From the very beginning, Dan was a great communicator and followed through when I told him price was a main concern. His team was fast and efficient. They stored my items at their facility. While they contract out long distance movers that aren't a fast/direct transport, the third party was still communicative. My items got to Orlando in 3 days (faster than the estimated time).

Would definitely recommend otter to anyone!

This was the best moving company I have ever used! I have to give a huge shoutout to Balsa and Dimitri! I used Otter's direct service for a long distance move from Brooklyn to NC. I had a fairly easy load that required to move one bedroom worth of furniture and items. They arrived to my apartment early, had everything protected and moved out in just under an hour and were on the road before street cleaning even started on my block! They had about an 8 hour drive ahead of them and they landed at my home before I even arrived amist storms and traffic on the drive down. Luckily my family was around to let them in and they had everything loaded in and organized by the time I made it home. I paid a flat rate for this move but it was worth every single penny. From the customer service over the phone to the actual move, the whole experience was seamless. Not a scratch was to be found on any of my furniture either! Thank you guys!!

Sloba and Carlos were phenomenal!!! And very kind. They were very fast and efficient. Also professional and Sloba calmed me down when I was panicking about other stuff… he’s really has consideration and that really stood out! Please request them if you have a moving job that needs to be done.

Estuart and his team were great. We moved from Jersey City to UWS of NYC and the whole move was done in 5 hours. The team was careful with our stuff and when we asked for extra padding and protection for our tables they were very kind and happily agreed be extra careful. Overall the team was very efficient, kind, and professional. The price we got was also amazing so highly recommend.

We had a great experience with the Otter team! We hired them for a long-distance move from NYC to Colorado. It was a nerve-wracking experience doing this kind of move for the first time, but the Otter team was there to answer every question and ease us along the way. We appreciate their communication and care!

I had the best move ever with Otter! They were super responsive ahead of my move as I updated them on the amount of items I would be bringing and offered me the best quote. They were also able to get everything out of my apartment efficiently and got it to my new place (out of state) in good time. Will definitely be using them again!

I have used Otter twice – once for a small local move and once for a large interstate move – and they were absolutely excellent. I recommend them to all of my friends. Milos and Denis were the crew for my interstate move and they were PHENOMENAL. They were kind, punctual, super helpful, and moved a mountain of boxes in minutes with the utmost care. Terrific service. Friendly young strong, guys, very professional. Knew exactly what they had to do. Finished cleaning out a 3 bedroom apartment in about 3 hours. Everything wrapped and protected. Fair price. I recommend this service to anybody looking to move.

I really jumped the gun when writing this review. So when all was said and done, it was a disaster. Yes, the pickup crew guys were terrific (3 guys). However, the delivery guys were horrendous (2 guys). I had several broken and missing things. One spoke no English, the other only broken English. So I could not communicate where I wanted things. They did not send by consolidated truck to North Carolina. They used their own truck, and they drove all night and were exhausted. So when they got here, he just wanted to dump my things and get back on the road to NY.
Please don't make the mistake I made and gave them a good review before everything was finished. The long distance move was not thirty five hundred. They charged me forty three hundred. After much headache, they did reimburse me of $200. Maybe they're okay for local moves, but I would not use them for long distance.

An amazing company! Definitely worth it! Kevin and his team at pick were great! They are so organized and professional. I was worried about my items getting broken or my move being delayed upon arrival. But everyone was amazing and so professional. Max was great with explaining everything and getting my move started. And Dominic also is the best. He helped ease my stress when I was worried about a mishap with my move. He called me and sent me everything I needed to reassure me. I can’t say enough good things about this company. They deserve more than 5 stars. Highly recommend. Everything came no issues nothing scratched or damages. I will definitely use them again.

Otter has a straight five star for a reason. Vlad and his teammate were friendly, efficient, and professional. The salesman Paul was also great handling communication with me. Price was reasonable. We tipped 25% because Vlad & his colleague were very helpful

The Otter team (both the moving crew and back office) are total professionals. They collected all belongings from storage, working within the complicated restrictions imposed by the storage company, arrive within 1.5 hours of their ETA and unloaded everything very quickly. I contacted Otter in an emergency 4 days before my family and I moved into our new place. They handled everything. I could not recommend them more strongly.

Very professional workers. Made moving interstate from NY to NJ very smooth and hassle-free. Kept items in storage for 2 months and the items were in perfect condition coming back. The workers even worked through the rain to deliver my items. Would highly recommend!

Travis and Luca (#44) were great. Very prompt, fast, and professional. They packed everything really well. I was also pleased with the communication from this company and the entire scheduling process. It all made my move a lot easier. I would definitely recommend.

I had a phenomenal experience with Otter. I moved a 1 bedroom from Brooklyn NY to Boston MA. My admin person, Peter, was organized, a clear communicator and so kind. He helped me navigate all the preplanning & negotiated a *very* good rate in comparison to other companies. He took great care in answering all my questions and easing any worry.

The movers, Milos & Dennis did a fantastic job as well. They moved out my stuff in about 4.5 hours, drove it up to Boston & moved it into my new place about 3 hours (all in one day!!!!). It was 90+ degrees and there were alot of stairs at both apartments. They were fast and efficient even as a two man team. I was so impressed with how much care and attention went into wrapping and packing my belongings. They are definitely experts. I so appreciate their hard work. This was my 4th move in 7 years and the first time I hired a company like this. I will NEVER go back to doing it myself & would highly recommend Otter (and specifically this dream team of Peter, Milos & Dennis!!!) to any of my friends and family.

Sometimes when you see an overwhelming amount of positive reviews it's natural to be a little suspicious. I can reassure everyone that my experience that of what's been said so far - a fairly priced, efficient and high quality move. I reached out to Otter Moving to move some furniture from our Brooklyn condo to our lake house 3 hours away. Ben coordinated our move and was very helpful and responsive. In one day he was able to get me a quote and COI. The price was very fair - I got quotes from 3 other companies and theirs was within the middle of the range. The move itself was flawless - they showed up when they said they would, efficiently packed up our stuff in Brooklyn and arrived and unpacked without a hitch.

I highly recommend Otter moving for your move, and can especially vouch for their expertise in mid to long distance moves!

Nemanja & Luis were great for our load out from Bushwick to Otter storage. Looking forward to getting our stuff delivered in NJ and fingers crossed all is well when it arrives in a couple of months!

Very satisfied with Otter! Communication was very good leading up to the move, pricing was reasonable (cheaper than Piece of Cake for my specific moving day) and they got to my pick up location 30 min earlier than I requested which was great! My movers Sebastian and Carlos (truck 31) handled all items with care and no delicate items broke. Would definitely use again.

I also used the plastic box service rental which was much better than my previous moves where I had to buy all the boxes, do all the assembling/taping, and throw them all out afterward. The boxes are very sturdy so I don’t have to worry about things inside getting damaged when they get stacked.

Note that for moves to NJ/Hoboken it’s very helpful to request temporary no parking passes a week or so before the move. It makes it much easier for the truck on the day of.

Milos and Denis were FANTASTIC! They were incredibly kind, courteous, fast, professional, and efficient. We moved from a townhouse in CT to a townhouse in VA, and our move was no headache at all thanks to Otter Moving! We will absolutely be recommending them to our friends! Thanks again Otter!!

Viktor and Angel (Truck 41) were great — especially considering this was their fourth job of the day across the tristate. They still brought strong energy and packed everything with real care, particularly the kitchen. What stood out was how thoughtful and creative they were, even using extra boxes and padding to protect a mirror. They worked efficiently without rushing and clearly take pride in their work. Honestly, these two need a raise. Would definitely use them again.

Needed to move upstate. Nate helped me with quotes and what was best decision for the move. I decided to pack up everything for the move myself. Vlad was the man. He showed up first thing in the morning and went over all the details for the move.He and his crew made sure everything was organized and within 1.5 hrs the truck was ready to move. He also made sure the items that were not being moved were broken down and thrown out. They arrived to the destination and unloaded everything and were very helpful in setting things up. I really enjoyed their hospitality and kindness. Definitely a great experience. Thank you for everything you guys did for my family.

We had a 3-story walk up and I’m not even sure how we got some of our items up there (like the couch), but these guys found a way to make it happen. Insane work ethic. Movng with Otter was the best decision I made, Micheal and Miguel was very fast, within 1hour if their arrival we were in the road. They were kind to my old mama who was asking 100 questions. Miguel literally carried my couch up a slope on his back I couldn't believe it.

I recently moved from Brooklyn, NY to Boston via Otter movers.
They came on time, were super professional and swift. Unfortunately, their truck got a ticket and I offered to pay but the company covered it, which is amazing on their part.
We travelled through amtrak but it got delayed a bit. Movers arrived at the place and set everything up before we got there. That was a pleasant surprise as well.
We had a fixed quote and didn’t need to pay even one dollar more than that. Having the list completely and transparently itemized played an important role in that.
I would recommend Otter movers 10/10.

I had a great experience with Otter moving and Peter with truck 57 with an interstate move. They were on time, efficient, professional, and handled all our items and our homes with care.
Getting a quote was straightforward and Nate was never pushy. He was available to answer questions, but I didn’t feel pressured to make a decision and wasn’t hammer called by the company.
We have another smaller move in the next couple weeks that we were originally planning on doing ourselves with a haul, but I just booked the move with Otter because we were so happy with our first experience.

Moving is usually a huge hassle, but Luca from truck 44 made it an absolute breeze. Their team was incredibly communicative every step of the way. Stefan and Marco were truly amazing. They helped us move from Astoria, Queens to our new home in New Paltz, and we couldn’t have asked for a better duo. From the moment they arrived, they were professional, efficient, and handled everything with great care. It has been our fourth move in 10 years and it's been the only time that i have things broken, but not only glasses and mugs, but lamps, decorations, furniture- the wooden legs of my table where broken which talks about the careless handling of my things. Even one vintage furniture that I payed EXTRA to get caution for it was damaged.
The packing team in NY was ok but since minute one the person in charge was specifing me that usually the tip ranges from 15 to 20% which btw is false but the fact that he mentioned it before even finishing the job was outrageous. I did ended up giving this amount just so I had my stuff taken well care of, which was so delusional of me.

The worst part was after the packing- so the estimated time that I was told was between 3 and 10 business days, although they swore that it would be shorter than this ( which it wasn't) but after the packing ZERO follow up was made from their end, zero info of where my stuff was, of when was it going to be shipped etc, my husband needed to call daily to have some kind of answer and they where super un professional at the phone, telling him at first that the truck already left NY and then the next day they weren't sure so this was a nightmare.

When our things arrived 10 days after, was the worst service, the guys where complaining all the time that there where a lot of boxes, then they just threw literally everything in my living room and didn't event finish assembling the furniture, they handled my things poorly and just wanted to get out of there.

So bottom line, I know the estimates are more competitive than other companies but you get a terrible service for that saving, and the worst thing is all the broken / damaged things that you loose for ever.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND OTTER! go somewhere else if you have things you care for.

Moving is general is such a daunting event. When i was searching for a moving company, a few different companies popped up in my algorithm. I eventually and undoubtedly chose Otter Moving & Storage. The initial call with David really put me at ease and I did not feel pressure to have to commit. He was readily available if I had any questions regarding the move and gave clear answers. On the day of the move, it happened to be the hottest day of the year so far! Danny and Juan arrived about 30 min early and got straight to work. Very efficient and took care protecting furniture. Unpacked at destination within about an hr and half. Huge shout to Danny and Juan for hustling in 95 degree temp. So grateful to them. Highly recommend Otter Moving & Storage and , if needed, will use Otter Moving & Storage again! Thank you!

Otter was able to give me a lower price than other moving companies for my move from Brooklyn, NY to Bucks County, PA. The movers arrived exactly on time and introduced themselves. Milos & Denis ended up being so fast and efficient, even with my sofa bed going down 4 flights. Milos' wrapping & taping skills were quite impressive. They arrived at my new building ahead of me and had already started unloading. They took great care of my belongings and got the furniture set up quickly where I wanted it.
