2026- Ahhh the ease that Tony provided. Already having my stuff in the system, made this second time a breeze!!!! This time Viktor and Angel worked efficiently and with calmness and determination to make the 4th floor move feel effortless. Viktor went above & beyond to help me tighten screws on older furniture, and he and Angel helped me throw out furniture I wasn’t taking with me. Above & beyond service!!!

The price was right!!!! Received a discount for being a repeat customer! This company is the BEST! I will always recommend them to anyone & use them in the future, when needed!

I had an exceptional experience with Alex (truck#60) and his colleague today! From start to finish, they were punctual, efficient, and incredibly professional. They handled everything with great care and worked quickly without compromising quality. Their positive attitude and attention to detail made what could have been a stressful moving day completely seamless. I truly appreciated their hard work and excellent communication throughout the process. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional moving company.

We moved a two bedroom apartment in New York to a nearby location in midtown Manhattan. OTTER moving company had great reviews online. They certainly lived up to their reputation. Everything was professional from start to finish. They arrived on time and did a great job! They were highly efficient and moved everything without a scratch or ding. I would use them again in a minute and give them the highest recommendation! I wish we could give more than a five star rating because I would give them 10 stars!

Five Stars for Lucky and his Team! When I tell you Lucky and his team did an Amazing job moving us in! From beginning to end there was nothing bad I could say. Lucky immediately got to work and made us feel comfortable about that fact that we were still packing. I had anxiety about my kitchen because it seemed so overwhelming, but Lucky had this one young man who literally pack my entire kitchen for me! Communication during the entire move was stellar! I really dont plan to move again but if I do OTtER IS MY CHOICE! Thank you a million times!

Truck #34 and David with his partner were amazing!!!!!!! Today I moved from Long Island to NYC with Otter and had a fabulous experience. Today was 95° and the two men were disassembling, reassembling and hauling heavy furniture up tiny staircases - and did it with a smile on their faces! The heat itself should have ruined their mood, but it did not at all! They did not complain or have anything negative to say. They came and got the job done, no questions asked. They got everything in and out in 30 minutes per pick up/drop off, they were so efficient! I thought it would take hours… it was under an hour!

If you are looking for a moving company in NYC look no further! I called on the phone to get a quote, the communication was extremely efficient, and seamless and the customer service was great.
I sent photos of our stuff and received a quote which was determined by an I itemized list of our things.

In the 91 degree NYC heat Matt and Rocky with truck 62 got the job done quickly and carefully. I live in a three floor walk up on the third floor, so their job was not entirely an easy one especially in this heat! They were great, super grateful to them!

Choosing Otter Moving was the easiest decision we made during our most recent move. From beginning to end, both the customer service team and the moving team were a pleasure to work with. Joshua from the sales team was always responsive and accommodating as we had to make several changes to our initial reservation throughout the process, and he made it an stress-free process. Daniel's team on the day of our move was also phenomenal! They communicated with us consistently, arrived on time as scheduled, were extremely organized and careful with our belongings, and worked efficiently and seamlessly to get our stuff moved to our new apartment in record time. Everyone we worked with was extremely friendly and reliable. And their prices are much more reasonable than those of their competitors. I recommend Otter Moving to all my friends and family who want a hassle-free move with a team who genuinely cares about their customers and goes above and beyond to deliver service of the highest caliber.

Describe the entire experience with one word? No problem… EXCELLENT!!! The movers showed up at the scheduled time at pick-up and drop off locations (pick-up was even earlier than I expected). The entire process of picking up our queen-sized mattress, dropping it off and removing the old one, took about 15 mins combined! I am extremely satisfied with the entire process and will definitely recommend Otter Moving & Storage to anyone who needs their services. I’m glad I went with OMS over other vendors. And “otters”? I mean, does it get more adorable than that? I think not 🙂

Exceptional NYC Movers – Fast, Budget-Friendly, and Highly Professional!
Petar and the crew from Otter Moving (Truck 57) were absolutely phenomenal! They moved all the items from our storage units on the West Side into our Midtown office, and the entire process was seamless. Otter provided incredibly fair, budget-friendly pricing while maintaining quality. They were lightning-fast and highly professional from start to finish. Navigating Truck 57 into the busy Midtown/Grand Central area on 42nd Street is no easy feat, but they managed the traffic and building access flawlessly.We had a few delicate items that required extra care, and the team handled them with the utmost respect—everything arrived in perfect condition. They are reliable, efficient, and careful movers in NYC. I highly recommend Petar and the crew on Truck 57. Would absolutely use them again!

After speaking with a friend who recommended Otter and their experience was 10/10, I felt comfortable moving forward and also so cared for throughout the intake process and beyond.

I hired them to move all my belongings out of storage into a new apartment in Brooklyn (mind you was a 2 story walk up!) End to end they were done in under 3 hours and I didn’t haven’t to worry about quality, care, or timing. I’d absolutely hire them again and wish I would have known about them prior to packing.

Avoid at all costs. This company was a disaster.

1. It’s been a year now since the move, and they still haven’t reimbursed us the amount they promised, which ironically, is only 10% of the damage/loss they caused during the move (computer and camera).

2. Our move was supposed to be two-part due to holidays. The movers arrived 1 hour late for packing/pick-up and the team didn’t say anything until we asked. When booking the move, they told us no need to come the day before to pack and there would be enough time, but 2/3 through the move, they said they wouldn’t be able to finish and movers needed to leave immediately at the end of moving window. We had to call the company negotiating while movers were ready to leave the mess with us. They ended up sending extra help to finish up. And we had to ask the building to extend the elevator hours and luckily they allowed it.

3. On the day of drop-off, they called 45 minutes after the promised time that they were running late, AGAIN, but “it will be fine”. Later they called again with “no we won’t make it”. We had to book hotel for the night, rebook the elevator for the new place, etc., because once again they couldn’t get the job done.

What stunned us most was the lack of communication, professionalism, accountability, and genuine effort to make things right. Delays and mistakes can happen but how they handle it matters more. Throughout this process, we were repeatedly left chasing answers, negotiating solutions ourselves, and dealing with the consequences of their poor planning and execution.

Good morning the moving crew was absolutely wonderful. They took care of all of our items, wrapped everything efficiently. It was hot so offered them so ice water and they were quick with moving everything out smoothly. They also went over everything that was the inventory so they knew what they needed to take. Moving is stressful enough and we lived at a 3rd floor walk up. They didn't complain about the hike. Heck they wouldn't even let me help them in any way. Kept telling me to sit down and relax while they worked. It was very appreciated and I was so thankful for it. Our last movers from a different company left on a sour note so we were hesitant to hire movers in general. Best movers ever.
