If I could give Luca and Stephon more than 10 stars, I absolutely would. They made what could have been one of the most stressful days of my life into an incredible experience.

They arrived early, introduced themselves, and immediately made me feel at ease. They were friendly, courteous, professional, and got to work without wasting a single minute. I had what felt like an endless number of heavy boxes and storage bins, yet nothing seemed to faze them. They worked nonstop, loading box after box with remarkable strength and efficiency, never once complaining or slowing down.

What impressed me even more was how carefully they handled every single item. They took the time to protect my furniture and belongings before moving them and continued to be just as careful while unloading everything at my new home. Their attention to detail gave me complete confidence that my possessions were in the best hands.

One moment that truly stood out was their kindness. It was an extremely hot day, and I realized I had completely run out of bottled water. Feeling terrible that I had nothing to offer them, I apologized. They simply went to buy water themselves and returned with the largest bottle for me as well—refusing to let me pay for it. That small act of generosity spoke volumes about the kind of people they are.

After hours of loading, we arrived at my new apartment. Before unloading, they assessed the layout, came up with a plan, and immediately got back to work. Once again, they never stopped. No breaks—just constant dedication from start to finish.

The biggest challenge came when we discovered my dresser wouldn’t fit up the stairwell. I’m on the third floor, and the ceiling and corners of the staircase simply didn’t provide enough clearance. Luca and Stephon tried multiple angles and different approaches, determined to make it work without damaging either my furniture or the building. Although it ultimately wasn’t possible, I was amazed by how hard they worked and how unwilling they were to give up.

Then came another obstacle—my box spring. It had the exact same problem. Once again, they exhausted every possible option trying to get it upstairs. I could see how hard they were working and how much they genuinely wanted to solve the problem.

Then Luca and Stephon came up with the most brilliant idea.

They decided to safely lift the box spring up to my third-floor balcony. Before attempting it, they carefully discussed the safest way to do it. Stephon securely tied a harness around the box spring while Luca positioned himself on the balcony. Working together with incredible teamwork, Luca pulled while Stephon pushed. The box spring was extremely heavy, and halfway through Stephon called for Luca to hold it while he raced up three flights of stairs to help pull it over the balcony. Together, they accomplished what seemed impossible.

Thanks to their determination, creativity, and teamwork, I had a bed to sleep on that night.

As for my dresser, everything worked out in the end. I was fortunate enough to donate it to a family of five who had just thrown away their own dresser and were wondering how they would replace it. Knowing it went to a family who truly needed it turned what started as a disappointment into a blessing.

Luca and Stephon went above and beyond in every possible way. They are hardworking, respectful, incredibly careful, kind, resourceful, and genuinely committed to providing exceptional service. Their work ethic and problem-solving abilities were unlike anything I’ve ever experienced from a moving company.

I would recommend this company to anyone without hesitation. If you’re lucky enough to have Luca and Stephon as your movers, you’re in the very best hands.

10/10 I highly recommend Otter Moving and will be using them again in the future. We went from a four floor walk up to a second floor apt and they made it a BREEZE. Incredible communication when I was booking and receiving a quote— not to mention they gave me the best quote!! Vlad on the day of the move was communicative, on time and fast. They took great care of our furniture, wrapped what needed to be wrapped and padded what needed to be padded. They showed up, crushed it, and then helped place everything in the new apartment. I’m genuinely so thrilled with this experience. Thank you Vlad.

I have used Otter twice – once for a small local move and once for a large interstate move – and they were absolutely excellent. I recommend them to all of my friends. Milos and Denis were the crew for my interstate move and they were PHENOMENAL. They were kind, punctual, super helpful, and moved a mountain of boxes in minutes with the utmost care. Can’t recommend them enough!

Had a great experience with Otter! They were super easy and responsive to work with prior to the move itself. On the day of, they arrived on the earlier side of the time window and worked very quickly. They were efficient and careful with all of our items. We had a lot of furniture and boxes and they handled everything with care. We did a two-bedroom apartment move within about 3-4 hours. Nothing was broken or lost in the move. Highly recommend! They were also the most reasonably priced of all the movers we quoted and were well worth that cost.

3rd time using Otter over the last few years and had another amazing experience with their crew. Basil & his brother went above and beyond to complete my move working through some pretty intense storm and torrential downpours. They made sure all my furniture was extra cared for and protected throughout and everything arrived in perfect condition. Thank you again guys!

Otter Moving was amazing from start to finish. The booking agents and move crew were extremely professional, careful, and efficient! By far the least stressful moving experience I’ve had in my life thanks to Otter - Will definitely be using them again!

The guys who arrived (Ogi, Wilmer and Peter) for the move were super very nice.

The sales person- Hans, for some reason failed to enter details of the inventory, was missing specific details about furniture I 100% know I told him on the phone. Thank god, these gentlemen who arrived, made no fuss and moved them for us 🤍

Terrific service. Friendly young strong, guys, very professional. Knew exactly what they had to do. Finished cleaning out a 3 bedroom apartment in about 3 hours. Everything wrapped and protected. Fair price. I recommend this service to anybody looking to move.

I really jumped the gun when writing this review. So when all was said and done, it was a disaster. Yes, the pickup crew guys were terrific (3 guys). However, the delivery guys were horrendous (2 guys). I had several broken and missing things. One spoke no English, the other only broken English. So I could not communicate where I wanted things. They did not send by consolidated truck to North Carolina. They used their own truck, and they drove all night and were exhausted. So when they got here, he just wanted to dump my things and get back on the road to NY.
Please don't make the mistake I made and gave them a good review before everything was finished. The long distance move was not thirty five hundred. They charged me forty three hundred. After much headache, they did reimburse me of $200. Maybe they're okay for local moves, but I would not use them for long distance.

An amazing company! Definitely worth it! Kevin and his team at pick were great! They are so organized and professional. I was worried about my items getting broken or my move being delayed upon arrival. But everyone was amazing and so professional. Max was great with explaining everything and getting my move started. And Dominic also is the best. He helped ease my stress when I was worried about a mishap with my move. He called me and sent me everything I needed to reassure me. I can’t say enough good things about this company. They deserve more than 5 stars. Highly recommend. Everything came no issues nothing scratched or damages. I will definitely use them again.

Peter and the Team 57 did an excellent job with our move. We were short on time, but they managed to get everything done in just a couple of hours. They were professional, kind, and respectful throughout the entire process. They were also incredibly friendly with our little puppy, Arlo, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend them!

I moved with otter moving this week and it was the best moving experience I’ve ever had. I had truck 39 with Nikola, Kelvin and one other mover whose name I didn’t catch. The three of them were very courteous and extremely careful with all our belongings. Truly a pleasant moving experience with very straightforward pricing, great communication, and prompt service. Definitely would recommend!

#58 Zivorad and his team were incredible! They were so careful with everything, were swift with disassembling and reassembling, & truly went above and beyond to make the move easy and stress-free for me. They worked so hard and I really appreciate it. And Zivorad has a great sense of humor! The whole thing was under 2 hours and I’m so glad I had them for the job! 10/10 would recommend :)

Peter and his team (57) Made my move so incredibly easy I was shocked at how efficient it was. I moved to a fifth floor walk up, which I would never have been Able to do a loan or even with friends they made it look easy and incredibly stress-free. I will for sure be using them next time. Hands-down, my recommendation for a mover.

I had an amazing experience! Lucka and Stephan from Truck 44 were absolutely fantastic.

There was an issue with my address being entered incorrectly, but that was completely my fault. Despite the confusion, they arrived as quickly as possible and were incredibly kind, professional, and understanding throughout the entire process.

I had pulled an all-nighter packing before the move, and as soon as they found out, they worked efficiently to help get everything wrapped up as quickly as they could. They were friendly, positive, and made what could have been a very stressful day so much easier.

Zivorad and his team (truck 58) were fantastic! They were attentive, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout our entire move. The movers on the day of my move were amazing. Victor (and another guy but I don’t remember his name) were very nice, professional, and efficient. However, the communication before my move was not great. I would give information or ask questions and wait a few days, even up to a week to get a response

I am not someone who typically leaves reviews, but I was absolutely blown away by the service Otter provided during my move. I initially booked with Otter because of their outstanding 5-star reviews & pricing, and after my experience, I completely understand why they have earned them.

From the very beginning, Alex coordinated everything over the phone. Since this was my first time using a moving company, I had a lot of questions. He was incredibly kind, patient, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process, making what could have been a stressful experience feel seamless.

On moving day, Uros Team #3 & crew were phenomenal. They worked quickly, efficiently, and handled everything with great care. As they were wrapping up, they noticed I still had a few extra bags and storage bins that weren't originally part of the move. Without a second thought or any hesitation, they loaded those up too. It was a small gesture, but it meant a lot and really showed that they genuinely cared about making the move as easy as possible for me.

The move-in location was a fourth-floor walk-up with extremely narrow staircases, yet they never slowed down or complained. They carried every single item up four flights of stairs and delivered everything in perfect condition.

What impressed me the most was their attitude. They were moving during a brutal heat wave, with the city covered in smoke from the Canadian wildfires, yet they remained positive, professional, and friendly the entire time. Their work ethic and dedication deserve to be recognized, so I hope this message gets back to the team as well as management.

I will absolutely be using Otter for every move I have in New York City, and I will be recommending them to everyone I know. If you're looking for movers who are professional, hardworking, and genuinely care about providing an exceptional experience, look no further.

Otter has a straight five star for a reason. Vlad and his teammate were friendly, efficient, and professional. The salesman Paul was also great handling communication with me. Price was reasonable. We tipped 25% because Vlad & his colleague were very helpful

Team 40 were amazing do my move. They were really speedy and careful, so it only took a couple of hours. I it myself pretty badly right before they arrived and so I didn’t quite finish packing everything, and they helped just scoop everything up and carefully load it. Totally recommend Otter moving, the price was good, the team were really communicative leading up to and during the move. I truly appreciated not needing to worry about things.

Truck Number 11 movers were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They arrived on time, handled all of our furniture and boxes with great care, and worked efficiently while still being incredibly friendly and professional. They made what is usually a stressful moving day feel easy and organized, and I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to anyone looking for reliable movers.

My partner and I recently moved out of a fourth-floor walk-up, and I couldn't believe how smooth Otter made the entire process.

From the start, Ross was fantastic to work with. He was incredibly responsive, professional, and easy to communicate with. Anytime I emailed him with a question, I'd usually hear back within minutes, and if it was easier to explain over the phone, he'd just give me a call. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, organized, and proactive. They checked in throughout the process to make sure everything was on track, but never in a way that felt pushy.

A huge shoutout to Daniel and Joshua as well. They handled everything from delivering the crates to moving day itself, and they absolutely crushed it. They were friendly, efficient, and treated all of our belongings with care. Considering they were a two-person crew moving us out of a fourth-floor walk-up, I was seriously impressed with how quickly and professionally they got the job done.

If you're trying to decide on a moving company, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. We'll definitely be using Otter again for our next move!

Otter made my move so easy this past weekend! Phil was so helpful with providing quotes & the COI forms my landlord requested. Then Luka & Stefan were so great on both ends of the move! Very kind, efficient & did a great job even on a day when it was flash flooding for most of the first half of the move & the drive. I wouldn’t have had such a seamless day without using Otter. Vuk and Daniel, in truck #29 helped me move. They were so fast, friendly and professional. I was truly surprised by how quickly they were able to pack the truck and unload it in my new apartment. They were kind enough to help me try out a few locations to place my extra large mirror in the new space. They were careful with my belongings and showed respect to both buildings. The entire move took 3 hours - (including an hour of transit). These guys are very efficient and showed up bright and early with happy attitudes. I’m happy, and will certainly hire Otter for my next move.

I’ve used Otter for two moves now and both times they were fantastic! In my most recent move I had Mika and his crew who went above and beyond for me and my family. They were attentive and careful with all of my items. They truly didn’t let me lift a finger and worked with a smile on a hot July day. I will be using Otter and recommending them, especially Mika, for all future moves.

I recently had to move on a short notice and didn’t know much about the process. Otter helped answer all of my questions, and made what’s usually a stressful process very manageable. Even when the boxes we initially requested weren’t enough, our movers, Redro and Edwin helped us pack while simultaneously preparing our furniture. The whole process was very quick, efficient, and luckily our team was very understanding and helpful, getting rid of a lot of the anxiety that comes with moving. I had my first professional moving service with Otter, Luka and Stephen from truck 44 is amazing. The moving process was super quick and I didn’t have to do anything, they took care of all my stuff as I move into my first adult apartment! The pricing was super reasonable, I would definitely recommend them!

The team was communicative, prompt, and efficient. Start to finish, I knew what to expect and when. The crew that did my move (Stefan and Vasili) were so kind and thoughtful, and the person who coordinated (David) was helpful and accommodating every step of the way.

The Otter team (both the moving crew and back office) are total professionals. They collected all belongings from storage, working within the complicated restrictions imposed by the storage company, arrive within 1.5 hours of their ETA and unloaded everything very quickly.
