This is my second time using Otter , and once again, they did not disappoint. They were efficient, professional, and arrived right on time. The team handled my belongings with great care, ensuring everything was moved safely. They made the tedious process of moving stress free, quick and seamless. Cant recommend these guys enough! They picked up all of my stuff and had it all unloaded at my new spot in 2 and a half hours. And that included about a 30 minute drive. Vanja and his crew were hilarious and super friendly. Who said moving in NYC had to suck? This was such an enjoyable experience. 100 out of 10 would recommend
While we didn't end up going with Otter because we had a promo with another company, our experience pre-move with Otter (in getting a quote) was one of the best experiences we had. We worked with Nihad who was very polite, kind, and response especially since I was still figuring out the inventory. He was also very generous and offered to match our other quote but unfortunately we had already locked in with a deposit. However, I absolutely will consider using them in future moves. At the end of the day the final price was extremely reasonable and the customer service was fantastic.
Movers came on time. We’re flexible, thorough and pretty quick all things considered. Moved from an elevator building to a walk up and they made the process much easier
They did a great job with the move - they were fast and efficient. The movers also helped me move some items from my building’s storage. Mark did a great job in assisting throughout the moving task setup.
One of the easiest moves ever! They came early, packed everything carefully yet quickly and were very nice. Moved a 1-bedroom apartment with a lot of furniture door-door in under 2 hours! Would 100% recommend them to all my friends moving and would definitely use them again for my next move!
I'm so glad I found Otter Moving! I had done a lot of research on companies to help me with two different moves - NYC to Boston and NYC to LA and Otter came through with the best overall rate (giving me a discount on booking both with them). Ivan was very responsive, nice, and easy to work with. There is complete transparency as to how their pricing works so I was able to determine whether it was worth keeping or moving my items. He was extremely helpful as I kept adding and removing things from my quote, providing quick updates of the estimated size of my move. On the day of my move to Boston, the movers beat to there and Ivan was really helpful coordinating between me and them and making sure that my items were delivered without costing me an overage on wait time. Everything was moved quickly, efficiently, packaged and treated with care. In love with this company!
Do not use otter moving if you don’t want your stuff messed up. They damaged essentially everything they packed and moved. They stripped screws/bolt of everything they disassembled and assembled back (like bed frames). They yanked the cables off of my TV and almost damaged the TV itself, got my carpets dirty, didn’t wrap up multiple sensitive furniture/objects and my speakers have scratches all over.
If you want careless movers who will forget to move certain pieces of furniture or break your things while they do, then this is the one.

Moving with Otter was a wonderful experience from A-Z. It started with having a great conversation with Nikola that kindly gave me all the information and was very pleasant and promised a great experience with company- and it was! Leading up to my move - Peter did an amazing job in making sure I understood the process as this was my first time using movers. The quotation given was the lowest I had received after calling around.
My actual move - My move took place in under 4 hours (Although it was a small move and buildings were about 40 mins apart - the team went above and beyond to get this done so quickly). The movers called ahead to find out if they could come early and cleared all my belongings out so quickly from the old apartment so quickly. They also communicated very well about what they were doing when transporting the items to the new place. There were also no damages to my stuff. I would HIGHLY recommend the services of Otter Moving.

wanted to write a review for them even though the move hasn’t happened yet. my property management gave me a lot of trouble with the COI preventing the movers from coming in, possibly delaying the move by days, but Vlad personally is doing everything he can using all the resources he has to push this forward, like moving schedules for the next day.
there’s definitely a personal touch to this company and they really care about you and treat you like a human. transparent pricing. everything. i can’t say enough about how great they’ve been throughout the process. part of me hopes they don’t get too big because that’s when companies usually lose that personal touch, but i will only recommend this place if you’re moving in nyc.
The movers were very pleasant and efficient even though I had some difficult to move items. The sales people were very responsive and accommodating and the price was incredible. I do not want to move again any time soon, but when I do, I will use them again, overall perfect job. Moving is stressful and they took away a lot of the stress.

Used Otter to move this month. Joaquin, Diego, and Frederico were AMAZING. Moving is so tough but they were prompt, professional, really fast, and extremely hard working. Wonderful experience working with Nikola and the crew at Otter. The quote was given to me in less than 10 mins from when I first inquired, the price was extremely fair, and the moving + storage combination was completely taken care of by the staff. Had a fabulous experience with Otter Moving and Storage. They gave me a quick and accurate quote (very reasonable), were very flexible when our moving date changed several times due to issues with a closing date. On moving date they arrived right on time in our home in Connecticut and were done loading items quickly and off to Brooklyn where they made one more stop to pick up more items and then off to the final destination in Brooklyn. Everything arrived in perfect order, they were very attentive to our requests that certain things be unloaded before others (ie an area rug) and put all items exactly where we requested. Move couldn't have gone smoother, I highly recommend them!

I had recently tee'd up Otter moving with the representative, Mark Jovanovic. He was so up front with quote and pricing, it was great. The whole experience was friendly and professional. I unfortunately had to cancel last minute and feel bad. The company still refunded my $50 deposit! I will definitely book them again when I'm ready to move.

Booked these movers a few days before my move from Manhattan to Queens, and they not only gave me the best price (compared to other local moving companies I looked at), but the process to book them was easy and smooth. Hans in the office was efficient and answered all my questions, and Andrija and Advan were the two best movers I could have asked for. They excelled in flexibility, safety, and efficiency (I was on a really tight schedule, and they made it all happen with time to spare).

Had a full studio moving job that went well. 75 inch tv was top priority and the team safely transported it and was able to provide appropriate box size packaging as well.

They didn’t nickel and dime me, the movers even helped to seal up some stuff and wrap them free of charge. Customer service was responsive. Movers were very nice. I had a family emergency and needed a queen-sized bed moved out of my apartment and stored to make room for a hospital bed. Otter was fantastic. They moved my bed out with a day's notice. The guys who came wrapped my mattresses completely and had them moved out in minutes. When the reverse process was needed, Nikola at Otter came to my rescue again. He was amazing. Otter Moving & Storage is a 1st class company. The guys who moved my things from a storage unit to my new apartment were efficient, energetic and professional. They communicated with me as they loaded their van to let me know of any items damaged by a previous removal company and helped me dispose of them. The service I received from Hans both prior - getting quotes and confirming date & time - and following my move to make sure I was happy with the service was exceptional. I’ve used other removal companies like Clutter in the past who claim to care but don’t. These guys care and that matters to me. Thanks Otter!
The crew was on time. 3 guys showed up and moved my furniture lightning fast on pick up and drop off. They were very careful in wrapping everything and very considerate every step of the way, answering questions and checking in for my input on the delicacy of items. We recently moved from Brooklyn to the Country Club neighborhood in the Bronx and had an amazing experience with Otter Moving Service. Moving out of a three-bedroom house can be stressful, but Jesus and Juan, the movers assigned to us, made it feel effortless. They were incredible—professional, hardworking, and highly efficient. They carefully moved all our furniture, reassembled it perfectly in our new home, and handled a large number of boxes with care. Beyond their expertise, they were courteous, friendly, and a pleasure to work with.

Recently hired the Otter team having had used Piece of Cake last time. I was very happy with their level of service, they really went above and beyond, took a lot of care when packing and moving my items and were very friendly at all times. Would recommend to anyone looking for movers in the city. I preferred the service of PoC, no hidden fees and they were just friendlier.

The five star reviews are legit - these movers were tremendous and worked to help me move in before my storage unit closed on moving day. The movers were really helpful and went out of their way to make sure my move was successful and easy. I will 100% be using Otter again and recommending it to friends

Love my experience with Otter moving team.My move was unexpected due to the house being sold where my apartment is and Hans worked with my budget and time needed to move. I even hired them 2x within a week and a half since I was not sure if we can fit my stuff in the new apt. Hans worked with me and everything was clear and specific.I had truck 6 in the first move with Duke and then the second one with Jose. Both teams were fantastic! I called two moving companies: one was $1000 higher than Otter. I hired Otter and could not have been happier. The three moving men were graceful, professional, fast, courteous and competent. Don’t hesitate to hire Otter.
The overall experience of working with the team was very easy and pleasant. Advan was extremely helpful in answering my questions and getting me an immediate quote for my move. The process was very straightforward and Advan and the team were very communicative about everything along the way. Even with an early pick up and delivery Danny & Tony worked harder and moved faster getting a move from bottom of Bed-Stuy to the top of Manhattan in only 3.5 hours definitely recommend for efficiency and prices

If you need movers, these are your guys! They are professional, friendly, and on the cheaper side of the other moving services in the New York City area. I would recommend them to any friends and family that want to use them. They have been amazing. Great service and experience overall. I emailed on a Monday and received a text and call shortly after that and everything was arranged within an hour for a move in 5 days. They are responsive to any questions or issues and were super fast in getting the Certificate of Insurance filled out and sent to me. The actual process was easier than I could've imagined; got a storage unit loaded and unloaded into my apartment within 3 hours.

I used them for moving out of my old apartment, storage, and moving into my new place all in the span of a month. Everything was seamless and stress-free. They were on time, very efficient (took about an hour each time) to pack my belongings and furniture during move-out, and also re-assembling during move-in. I had fragile glass furniture (table and desk) and an expensive desktop workstation that they handled with care and delivered in perfect condition. Highly recommend and will be relying on them for future moves!

I recently used Otter to move my one bedroom apartment. They were very careful with all my belongings and were incredibly fast.
