I had a great experience with Otter. My moving situation was especially chaotic — some things went into storage, some things went to another address, and unforeseen issues kept arising — but the movers handled everything in a very friendly and efficient manner. Coordinating the logistics with Peter over the phone was also very easy. I looked into four different moving + storage providers and Otter was the only one who brought up the future move *out* of storage, which showed me that they really think about the full customer experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Otter Moving Company is in the business of making moving far less stressful. I had the pleasure of hiring the team for my family's recent out of state move, and they absolutely went out of their way to make sure it was as smooth as possible. Everything, including our dozens of plants and precious cargo, arrived as we hoped. The moving team were EXCEPTIONALLY DILIGENT - they immediately hit the ground running when it came to moving out our boxes/bags and the same when they arrived to bring everything into our new location. If you're pondering on which company to go for, make this the first on your list. As I unpack my final box, I'd be remiss if I didn't write this review to express my gratitude.

I can’t say enough good things about Samuel and Michael from Otter Moving. As an interior designer, I work with movers all the time and this team really stood out. They treated every piece like it was their own, carefully wrapping and organizing everything with so much attention to detail. They took their time in the best way, never rushing, just making sure everything was secure and documented.

Communication was clear from start to finish and they made what’s usually an overwhelming process feel surprisingly easy. They were warm, professional, and incredibly thoughtful throughout the day. I felt completely at ease knowing my items were in such capable hands.

I’m genuinely so grateful to have worked with them and feel lucky they were the team on my move. I’m already looking forward to seeing them again when it’s time to deliver everything to my new place. Highly recommend.

Otter Moving was so incredibly professional and gracious. I was an absolute disorganized mess during my move and Marko and Miguel did not complain once. They were so efficient and professional. Very professional movers. Before I hired another company Dumbo moving &storage, they just wasted my time, when their movers went in & they saw furniture, they said it’s very heavy we can’t do it. But this company OTTER They know what to do in tough situations and how to carry heavy furnitures. They wrapped all the furniture to prevent scratches. My china cabinet was very big and really heavy but three boys(don’t know their names) did an awesome job. They even called me after to find out if everything went well and if i had any concerns. I would highly recommend them if you need movers. Thank you so much guys for making everything easy for me.

Otter moving made my move so convenient and easy and was very well priced. They were super careful with all of my items and assembled things like my bed and dresser once they got everything in the apartment. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Brandon and his team were great! They arrived promptly and took the time to make sure they knew which items to take and which to leave. They were very careful in wrapping and protecting furniture and fragile items. Move was to a three story walk up, and they were very strong and efficient in bringing things upstairs. Brandon assembled the furniture that had been disassembled for the move and arranged it in our home where we wanted items. The move went very quickly and nothing was damaged or broken. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend for your New York City move.

What truly stood out to me was how they put my furniture back together, it’s actually better than I had it before! Mez’s team moved efficiently and with care. He was incredibly considerate of our belongings and was a pleasure to work with. Mez is an absolute champion. Otter offered us the best rate and stored our belongings for a week for free before we could move in. Would recommend for any moving services.

Samuel, with truck #2 saved my life!!! I had to set up a same day over night move at 6pm. I thought it wouldn't even be possible but he made it easy! They were lightning fast, and made sure everything was handled with care. Seriously, I can't recommend them enough. If you have to move, choose Otter, and ask for Samuel!

Laki and team did an amazing job! They were in an out of my apartment in less than 2 hours and swiftly brought all my boxes down, disassembled my furniture, and padded everything thoroughly with blankets. Mark from Otter was incredibly helpful in coordinating the move as well. Very professional service, would definitely hire them again!

Otter Movers helped us move out of two locals and drop off in two locals on a day of 98 degree weather. The movers were totally professional and hard working. They keep expert track of everything, so just double check that you’ve calculated correctly. It all went off without a glitch. Impressed.

Peter and his team were amazing with moving from LIC to morning side heights. So kind, professional and efficient. Zlatko and Miro truck number 12, were absolutely incredible. Literally the best moving service I have seen and were so professional. 120% effort given while NYC was burning at 100 degrees. Can’t say enough incredible things Otter is lucky to have them and I recommend them for the highest honor the company can give them.

This was the most amazing move I have ever encountered. These two kind men, Camilo and Michael were nice, professional, fast, and willing to do anything we needed. I can’t thank Otter enough for sending these two outstanding gentlemen from Truck 2. They moved my child from Manhattan to Westchester with complete ease on one of the hottest days of the year. I did some comparison shopping and I was a little nervous as Otter was a lot more affordable than the others but they were seamless. I also want to include Nihad as I communicated with him from day one, both on email and the phone, and he was awesome as well. I highly recommend Otter for your next move!!!

I had the pleasure of working with Samuel and Michael in Truck number 2. These two were extremely professional and friendly. It was almost hard to believe how diligent, thorough and hard working these two men were. They made my move out/ move in day a breeze. I cannot commend/ recommend Samuel and Michael enough and, by extension, Otter moving. Also, Stan who I spoke to on the phone was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and was always available to me for questions and confirmations. The price was also significantly better than the competing companies I contacted. If you’re moving in Manhattan, Otter moving is a no brainer!!

Stan has been great. From the beginning to the end of the move. He took care every detail, time and dates. Assisted me with assembly person for murphy bed. (Who knew what had to be done).Movers where pleasant and prep work was professional. Move was quick and painless.BEST Movers in NYC. Pricing was awesome.

I had the absolute best moving experience with Otter!! They offer a bin delivery service a week before the move so i didn’t have to worry about buying any cardboard boxes. They also have wardrobe boxes they bring the day of the move to put your clothes directly in and can take directly out after the move. The movers were soooo fast I couldn’t believe it. And nothing broke! Will definitely use again for my next move.

We had such a great experience with Otter Moving. We realized last minute that we had too much stuff and would not be able to pack and move everything ourselves and when we reached out to Otter, they responded immediately and quoted me an affordable price.

They were flexible and brought all the equipment and tools we needed to pack and move.

This was my first time moving on my own. So I was nervous about this whole process. I did some google searches and found Otter Moving & Storage. They contacted me right away, and was in constant communication all way until my move. Adam was my point of contact, and he answered any questions I had. I felt as if the price was very fair and affordable for someone like me, I work at a restaurant.

I used otter movers and they gave me best price (manhattan move). They are really awesome. Mr. Hans even replied to me on weekends and helped me. Their management team replied to all the queries related to certificate of insurance. Lastly, team gregory came on the day of move and trust me guys, those people were super talented , they really made my moving day experience so easy and swift.
