Otter exceeded our expectations! Peter and his team were so efficient. Moving in NYC is so stressful and chaotic and these guys completely eliminated that for us. They really have it down to a science. We also appreciated how carefully they treated our belongings . Thank you!!!

Otter was great! The movers were very timely and efficient, they were very kind as well. I was very happy, and the price was right! I am actually very surprised how seamless it all went. I would use this moving company again in a heart beat!

I used Otter moving company yesterday/today and wowwww! The office team was fantastic and the team of two movers, Mez and Terry were exceptional. The price was very reasonable and communication was superb. The movers went in to my apt in NY and packed everything in about 3.5 hours. The next day, they arrived in VA very early and completed the move in 4 hours. Overall, I highly recommend Otter. I am very pleased 😄

The Otter move from a house to a NYC apt went very smoothly (an hour driving distance for the move). From pick up to delivery, the two movers Vladimir (and I didn’t catch the other mover’s name) were friendly, professional, and fast. Everything worked out very well and we definitely recommend Otter to others!
The driver texted us the morning of the move with an ETA time, arrived at the pick up location exactly on time, and both men were friendly, highly professional in packing all furniture, strong in lifting everything, arrived at the NYC apt on time and unpacked the furniture in a fast timeframe, and all furniture was delivered great! They parked with their truck on the same busy street as the apt and moved all of our furniture professionally, quickly and smoothly! The cost to move was extremely fair (and we got estimates from several movers!; Otter had the BEST quote for the move!!) and we are very pleased with their work! We highly recommend Otter to anyone for moving furniture!

Shawn was thorough, friendly, and responsive. He booked my move on the phone in less than a hour. The movers kept in communication with me before the move and showed up on time. Gregory and the other movers did a great job! They worked carefully and quickly. They moved our belongings from Flushing, Queens to Nanuet in Rockland County. They even arrived at my new home before me! Shawn was true to his quoted fee, which was quite reasonable. Otter Moving is a fine company. I am glad I made the decision to trust them with my move. I had to move quickly, Alex gave me the best quote, and team! Adrian and Jesus were super friendly, packed my apartment in record time with care, marked boxes with locations for easy unpacking. I am so happy I chose Otter moving for my big move. When I inquired about moving services I did not feel rushed or scammed. Stan was so nice when he called, he guided me with so much patience. First I had to reschedule that was easy to do then I rescheduled with no problem. The day we moved the guys came early ready to start the moving process. They were fast, efficient, they got everything in without hassle.

We moved upstate which they got to before we did. They opened up off loaded with everything in its place. Thank you the team we would recommend you over and over again!

Otter Moving did an excellent job with my recent move. They packed everything efficiently and carefully, moved it to my new place, and carried everything up multiple flights of stairs without any issue. Me and my boyfriend got recommendations from our friends to use this company. We hired them today for a moving to a new place. Everything was amazing, they are officiant, no hiding fees, really punctual and fast. They done their job as been promised. The movers Milovan and Danilo are really nice guys. They are friendly and really strong . I appreciate them a lot for their work. And highly recommended this company .

Otter Moving was awesome! Our two movers packed up our two bedroom in record time and took a lot of care of our furniture. They also did a great job unpacking and putting all the furniture back together. On top of that- their price was the most reasonable I found. I had a move from the city to upstate (5-6 hr drive up) they were efficient, careful with all of my items, communicative. This was the most affordable move and stress and hassle free. I would stick with this moving company for my next move and highly recommend it!

A very positive experience.One piece of advice-be very precise with your inventory list, cross check the list with the movers upon arrival and don't expect them or ask them to move any items not previously submitted when calculating your estimate. We hired Otter Moving & Storage to help us with a significant office move that included packing up and moving a couple thousand books from a library. They were FANTASTIC! Thorough, careful, punctual, and easy to work with from start to finish.

Resounding 5 stars!! My Otter guys moved me from LIC, NY to North Bergen NJ. It was literally all finished in a little over 2 hrs! They got all my stuff out of my old place in 40 minutes, wrapped up my mattress, my couch. Everything was super safe! And when a mistake was made, they went above and beyond to correct it. They showed up exactly on time, were professional and friendly, very experienced. And all for a very affordable price. I’d give more starts if I could, highly recommend!!

Recently used Otter for our move from Manhattan to Brooklyn and it was a breeze. They showed up right on schedule and immediately got to work. Had our one bedroom which included bulky bedroom furniture and a sofa moved out in under 2 hours. They were so efficient and quick it was impressive. Would absolutely use them again!

Wow I never thought I would be writing a positive review of an NYC moving company, but we had a wonderful experience with Otter! I called at 9pm and was able to schedule a last minute next day move at a really reasonable price. The movers were communicative (texted when they were on their way), timely, and took great care with our possessions. I even got a call from Greg who I had booked the move with while it was going on to check if everything was going smoothly.
I truly am not used to having such great experiences with movers, and I've moved A LOT. I can't recommend Otter enough and will definitely hire them for my next move!

Best moving experience I have ever had, Shawn was very helpful and kind getting me all sorted with the quote and scheduling, and team 30 did the move so efficiently and were so kind and professional, definitely worth it and will use them exclusively going forward.

I recently used Otter Moving Company for my move from a 5th-floor walk-up in Brooklyn to my new apartment, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience.
From start to finish, Simon—who handled my invoicing and coordination—was incredibly professional, responsive, and organized. I had reached out to about five different companies for quotes, and Otter not only gave me the most reasonable price( almost half of the others), but also delivered service that far exceeded my expectations. The 4-man crew led by Diego was absolutely fantastic. They arrived on time, worked at an impressive pace, and handled everything with great care. Even though my move ended up being much larger than planned (from 20 boxes to over 50!), they managed the extra load effortlessly. The team took care of disassembly, careful packing, and reassembly of all my furniture exactly according to my layout.
Despite the challenge of a 5th-floor walk-up and the added volume, they finished everything in just a couple of hours—efficient, friendly, and highly professional throughout.

Otter movers were helpful from the booking, to any rescheduling, requesting of COI. The move itself was efficient and the movers were careful with my belongings. I had a small move, probably bedroom size. And they charged much less than some others out there.

I just moved from Brooklyn to New Jersey this past weekend and used Otter moving for the first time. The crew was on time and really great. Even with the traffic from Brooklyn to Jersey they did the whole move in 3 hrs. Lovely experience from quote to booking to moving. Daniel and Josue were great. Agris and Jose were amazing — truly life savers. They moved my entire apartment (a large studio) in an hour and a half beginning to end. I had MANY fragile items and was worried I’d see a broken dish or two, but they took care of each box and item of mine. They were kind and communicative and constantly checked in on whether they were putting things in the right place.

Offered to send a follow up team to come help with my issue, and made sure to make me feel heard. This company is bootstrapped, and I almost don’t want them to grow because of the care and attention they’re able to give at the scale they’re at. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. They refused to try taking apart a bookcase and also tried to leave things behind in our apartment because the quote was locked (why did they lock it before finishing? We would have paid more for extra packing and made that clear!). This included trying to leave valuable paintings behind on the walls we asked to have taken down. They said the truck was full? It was not. Anyways they also arrived laid when we paid extra for a specific arrival time. So it was not the best experience sadly.

The team that helped me move the morning of 10/24 was absolutely amazing!! They were so professional, personable, their patients was amazing!! They took care of everything with care!! Whatever incentives you can provide the team, do make sure they are compensated. I have no complaints and I will use your company again and refer in the future.

Lucky, Marko, Santiago just finished an all day move with me from Queens to Westchester. They packed everything and wound up filling an entire 26’ truck, also stopping at a storage unit. They also figured out solutions to getting stuff into the new location. Professional, fast and thorough. You’d be lucky to get this crew at your move. Highly recommend.

Wow! Josue and Daniel were absolutely amazing! My mom and I were so impressed. They were super nice, friendly, and patient the whole time. We used Otter Movers today, and even with no elevator to our 3rd-floor apartment, they nailed it like pros!
