I had an excellent experience with this moving company. The crew was punctual, efficient, and incredibly polite. They treated my belongings with care and made the entire moving process feel easy and stress-free. I’m truly grateful for their help and would absolutely recommend them to anyone who’s moving.

The move with Truck #30 crew (Blazo, Uros, and Michelle) was a pure breeze and the best one I’ve ever had! I’m not saying that lightly as I moved 15-20 time over my life, both within the US and internationally, and had all kind of good and bad experiences. The guys were very friendly, and worked fast, efficiently, and with utmost care for my belongings. All the furniture, electronics, and paintings were properly packed and transported without any damage and unpacked and setup in my new place. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I wholeheartedly recommend Otter Moving & Storage (especially Truck #30) for any of your moving needs in the NYC/NJ area!

Otter were recommended to me by a work colleague and also a friend, who’d both used them. Their price was way better than all the other quotes we got. Paul in the office went through every detail we needed and really listened and his follow up was perfect. On moving day Bernardo and Teo were FANTASTIC!!!! They texted in advance to say they were on the way, they took so much care wrapping our furniture and they worked so efficiently and fast. They even packed everything in to our temporary storage unit so it fit perfectly. Great people, super efficient, courteous and good humour too. Best moving company we’ve used and we’d definitely use them again. Highly recommended.

Amazing service. Will definitely be my primary choice for any moving job. Everything was smooth, professional. Mr. Shawn was very understanding and made sure I was set. The 2 movers that were assigned to me were Louis and nemanja. Let me tell y'all something, for a last minute move in this horrible cold weather, these 2 were amazing!!!!!! You can tell they worked with their heart. I didnt need to lift a finger. They came in, and started right away. And they worked with such grace and kindness. Im so grateful to them. Genuinely shocked at all the positive reviews for this company. Otter has been hands down the worst moving experience I have ever had after 20 years of living in this city.

We were moving to a unit in the same building, literally one floor up, and the movers STILL brought stuff to the street and started packing the truck? This was after David (one of the movers, if you get him, keep an eye on him) try to tell me that the move may take one to two hours more than originally quoted. If feels like they made a decision to try and swindle me before they even showed up.

They scratched our new walls, didn't wrap anything. Just awful customer service and an awful experience.

I usually don’t write reviews, but Otter made everything so easy and the crew from Truck 14 did such a great job. They were very friendly, professional, and impressively fast. Communication was clear throughout, and they made the whole move smooth and stress-free.

I cannot recommend Alex and Stoyan from Otter Moving enough! I had to move in the freezing cold, dead of winter, and these guys were absolute champions.

Moving in NYC is stressful enough, but doing it in sub-zero temperatures is a different beast. Alex and Stoyan were incredibly kind, professional, and had a great attitude despite the bitter cold. Most importantly, they were fast—they didn't let the weather slow them down for a second and handled all my belongings with total care.

If you’re looking for movers who are reliable, efficient, and genuinely nice people to work with, ask for Alex and Stoyan. They made a difficult winter move feel like a breeze.

We booked Otter Moving through Chad. He was very communicative throughout the whole process. We rented plastic bins, added inventory as we packed, and gave us clear price estimate with email confirmations. They called to confirmed the day before. Our move date coincided with the snow storm. Four guys showed up with shovels, they had to shovel to space for their truck on the street without complaint. They introduced themselves as George and his crew. The whole move took 5.5 hours. They packed our large items nicely (tv, console, mattress, table, etc). They disassembled our bed frame and dining table, and reassembled it in our new apartment. They moved the items to the proper rooms so we don't have the lug the boxes ourselves. Moving is already so stressful, so having them being efficient and communicative was just what we needed. Moved from in a coop building to another building with tons of rules. Bravo to George and his crew!

We needed movers for our heavy future; bedroom set, sectional, media stand, and dining table. Bojan and his team went above and beyond while helping us. They were thorough and efficient but most importantly very kind hearted. One of our pieces was very difficult to get out and they went above and beyond to ensure we safety got all our items to the new place. Words can’t describe my appreciation for Bojan and his team’s dedication and friendly behavior.

Great moving experience with truck 19 and the crew — Agris and Michael who were fantastic. They showed up right on time, worked incredibly efficiently, and handled everything with care and respect. Packing and moving was smooth, organized, and stress-free. Highly recommend Otter Moving Company and especially this team.

My move was seamless and smooth. I moved on Christmas Eve and it was made so easy and so quick. Everything was out of my old apartment within 30 minutes (I packed ahead of time) and moved into my new place so quickly. Thank you to Djole, Michael, and Agris! I would recommend them to all of my friends and I look forward to working together again!

Otter Movers are really great 👍 company they are hands on with your things and very careful and have respect for your things. I felt so sorry for the guys because it was a fourth floor walk up wow they took things from upstairs to the first floor with no problem hands on great. They were very careful with My furniture and the rest of my belongings. The packing was great. Everything was smoothly. They have respectful and it was done. Super Duper fast. I’m very happy with my move and I came into my new place that has an elevator and they put the furniture where you would like it. They’re so smooth with things very humble and sweet guys. The guys was really sweet.

This was the smoothest moving experience I had and for a great price compared to other companies that I received quotes from! Mike was really helpful & responsive throughout the process of setting up our move. The day of the move, the movers were very careful with fragile items, while also being efficient. I couldn’t recommend them more!

Otter Moving made my Manhattan to Queens move very smooth! I called about a week in advance and as I only had a few items, Tom quoted me a very reasonable price and ensured movers were able to serve within the required timings of my buildings.

Additionally, Alex’s team was very communicative and let me know when they were on the way and arrived at both locations. The move was quick, smooth and professional. I would definitely move with Otter Moving in the future.

Great experience overall. The movers were efficient, careful, and made the move super easy. What really stood out was that they helped align everything in my new apartment TV stand, TV, and couch. So the place actually felt set up, not just unloaded. Professional, helpful, and worth it. Would definitely use them again.

Overall, I had a great experience with Otter. First and foremost: fair pricing compared to the other companies. They were flexible about changing my move date at the last minute, quick (under 2 hours from start to finish), and nothing broke. The only negative was that my clean items got dusty during the 30 minutes they spent in the truck. But I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I cannot recommend these guys highly enough! George and Marco were amazing, moved everything super fast and were so kind and fun to talk to. Ask for them by name! And so reasonable cost wise. I rarely write reviews but had to for these guys.

Agris & Michael are the best moving pair I’ve ever worked with in NYC. I’ve moved 4 times in the last 5 years and have never experienced such an efficient, kind, and strong team. My experience with Otter was nothing short of fantastic. From initial outreach, Nikola from the booking team was wonderful. Extremely responsive, confirmed all the services I needed, and booked the moved quickly and easily. Moving day was equally as fantastic. My mover Peter reached out to confirm timing a day in advance, and he and his team were thorough, quick, very careful with all items, and very nice! They made the moving experience completely stress free and went above and beyond to ensure it was a seamless experience from start to finish. Absolutely amazing experience! Had seen other reviews saying it was a super easy and smooth process with Otter, but did not expect how easy it was going to be. Worked with Paul in the office and fully got my move set up in less than an hour - he was super responsive and very kind. Brandon and the guys in Truck 23 were efficient, kind, and handled everything with care - they had my entire local move done start to finish in 3 hours. Overall 12/10 for all of them! Ronny and Alex were AMAZING! We had a challenging move during the coldest day of the year and they got the job done. All items arrived in great quality and condition and they were very thoughtful about making sure the move was smooth. They were very helpful. 100% on everything!

I used otter to move from BK to Jersey city the day after the snow storm. When I tell you these men were nice and professional. They moved everything I had including 3 heavy boxes. They moved through and narrow streets to help me move. I give them 10 stars

Had such a great experience with Otter! They arrived right in the middle of the arrival range and were super quick & efficient. I'm not the best packer and also ended up with a few more bags than I estimated to them, but they were super understanding, didn't charge extra, and got all of my stuff safely to my new place. One of the guys even brainstormed with me where to set up my bed in the new apartment, and put together the bed frame perfectly. Not to mention they charged half what the other places I called quoted... definitely recommend!

Crew Joe (Truck 2) was phenomenal. This 3-member team worked like ninjas. We were just amazed the whole time they moved out of our old place and into our new one. They were even faced with obstacles after the recent storm in NY; one that required them to shovel hardened snow/ice before moving and they did it all in record time.

The crew members that I had for my move with Otter were Alex and Rodney and I couldn’t be happier with how smoothly the move went from start to finish. Not a single broken item which was a relief because this was my first time using movers (I’ve always done it myself with some friends). I did research on pretty much all the common moving companies and got quotes. Otter was the most reasonably priced (but other companies weren’t thatvmuch more expensive) but when reaching out for quotes, they communicated the clearest. They also didn’t harass me with multiple calls, texts and emails a day to see if I'm going with them. Just basic communication which was nice to see. On the day of I did have to reach out to the guys a couple of times for an eta because they got there later than expected but I did have an early morning move scheduled and traffic was extremely heavy so not their fault whatsoever. I had a direct number to one of the movers and he was very responsive. It is a stressful decision to pick which moving company to trust your stuff with but I had a great experience and will be using them again.

Had a great experience both before and during our move. They are thorough and really communicative prior to the move, via email and text. During the move, we had 3 movers who were efficient, right on schedule (even early!), were incredibly respectful of our stuff, furniture, and our spaces, and put all the furniture back together correctly. Today we moved some stuff for our friend. He’s from Queens, NY and moving to Bayonne, NJ. He had six boxes and three tv. We were assisted by David from Otter and his team was amazing. They were very swift and well coordinated. He first asked us to walk them through the walkways and then got the rest of the process. We began around 2:45PM today and completed the move around 5PM. Well coordinated and friendly. We had no complaints so we tipped them nicely for the service. Hope they will have more people like David who ensures that everything gets done efficiently. Otter move helped my company move offices from SoHo to Chelsea. They were on time, professional, even moving up the start time to accommodate a building rule we were told about last minute. I loved that they use bins, as it's better for the environment and the guys took great care with our possessions. Would use again.

So just so all understand I have moved out of the BRONX more than 40 years ago, so all my connections and everything I know were gone. Now I had to rely on a search for movers from the BRONX to move furniture for me because I no longer live in the Bronx, . I live way out in New Jersey.. so I started researching I came up with three companies and called each one prices were fair, but still kept going back-and-forth and this company the outer moving company was the one that I chose because of all the review . I spoke to a nice man named STAN told him what I have three stops. He took all the notes down, came up with a price. Which was acceptable and agree. When he called me back the second time about four days before the move, he gave me another discount. I put down the deposit and like I said, the price was lower . The day before the move, he called me again, went over everything made sure tell me what time that they’ll be there and the next day the movers came . These two young men friendly and they worked in unison. They went over each time they went up and down. They arrived @ each destination in a timely manner. 3 stops. 1st Bronx, Ft, Dixs. South Jersey.
