From the administrators to the actual moving team, Otter Moving and Storage made the process of relocating as smooth as possible. The administration explained their accounting in detail. The moving team was not only on time, they were actually early. They were fast, efficient and extremely professional. Strongly recommend OMS (Otter Moving & Storage) for your next move. I had a great experience with Otter. They were extremely helpful in the lead up to my move, answering all my questions and adjusting my move time very last minute. Day of, I was really happy with how carefully the team handled my personal items and how quickly they moved everything. I can’t recommend them enough!

I hired Otter for my Brooklyn move. I had the pleasure of working with Viktor and Angel (Truck #41). They were very professional and very pleasant. They efficiently moved my boxes and furniture with the utmost care and respect. They allowed me to feel at ease. It was great chatting with them and getting to know them as well. The crew, Nicola and Jose on truck#39 showed up on time and did great job for our moving while they had to share the elevator with other residents for moving out.
Miles and Alisa are also professional and supportive for administrative works such as getting quote, scheduling and issuing COI.

From start to finish, a perfect experience! Tony was responsive and helpful in scheduling and the price was very reasonable. Our movers, Team #40, arrived right in time. They were friendly and helpful. They took great care of our belongings. We will definitely use Otter for our next move and highly recommend them to others!

I gotta say, I was extremely stressed about my move. We hadn't quite signed our lease and time wasn't on our side. I started researching and calling different moving companies. After A LOT of targeted adds, Otter came up so I gave them a call. I spoke with a gentleman named Josh. I gotta say, if you ever talked to him on the phone you are in GREAT hands. He answered all my questions, including many hypotheticals for my move. We even bonded on Daredevil and the MCU. That guy had me EXCITED about my move by the end of the call. I knew whatever estimate they sent I'd likely use them based on that conversation. Lo and behold the estimate was lower than all the other companies I had called (one by 40%). I used them. They as a whole are very communicative, calling or texting when needed but not excessively like Piece of Cake (I didn't use them bc they wouldn't stop calling me, one time at 8am). They arrived at the beginning of their arrival time, moved everything to my new apartment in about 2 hours. I'd happily use them again. They were great!!!

This was my first time using Otter Movers and I had a great experience. From the booking process to the actual move, everything was smooth and well-organized.

David and Vuk were my movers, and they were efficient, careful, and clearly hardworking. They handled a lot of heavy boxes without any issues and made sure everything was moved safely. I really appreciated how quickly they worked without being careless.

I had a great experience with this moving company. Boris and his crew were so efficient and skilled in getting my 1 bedroom apartment out and to the next location. All of my furniture was wrapped and handled with care. Moving anywhere is a stressful experience but even more so in NYC, so working with a company like Otter Moving was beyond worth it to me, it feels like they genuinely want to help and not just a money grab. You won't regret working with this company!

We just moved from Manhattan to Jersey City and I truly couldn’t recommend Otter Moving more. This was our first time hiring movers and Mark and his team helped make the process so easy and stress free leading up to the move and on moving day. They showed up promptly at the start of the arrival window and literally had an entire one bedroom apartment packed up and empty in 90 minutes! The team was also very professional and did a great job wrapping and protecting our furniture — nothing ended up broken. Overall a very pleasant experience and will definitely be using them again next time!

I kept seeing ads on Facebook for Otter, so I decided to call and spoke with Hunter for basic information. I went on Google, Yelp, Reddit, and the BBB to see what the reviews were and they came in rated high! I spoke with Nikola to finalize the move. We reviewed my inventory 3x to make sure it was accurate. I had 2 movers Danny and Joshua arrive on time with such warm, friendly attitudes. I have to say what a fantastic experience this was. They were so professional, polite, friendly and strong 💪!!!!! The funny part...I thought my cats were locked up (which I was suppose to do) however one got out and ran down the hallway ( what a scene) Needless to say my hero Danny made sure we got the cat back in which was not part of his job! This is my first move so I was a nervous wreck but felt so relieved once it was done plus the price was so much cheaper than the other companies and I called at least 8 places and most had mixed to not so good reviews. I selected Otter because of the high ratings, and I am happy to share the outcome so people will feel good using a reputable company. Phase 1 is going from an apartment, then getting furniture disassembled, packaged up, and bins out the door. Now Phase 2 begins, my furniture is now en route heading down to South Carolina to be unloaded, reassembled into my new home. This shall be continued stay tuned 😉 😎 so far so good!! Thanks to Nikola, Danny, and Joshua. I will keep you all posted to the end result.

I’ve used a lot of movers over the years, Piece of Cake, Dumbo Moving, friends bribed with beer and pizza. Otter Moving is without question the best I’ve used.

Otter charged me $300 less than every other quote I received, their customer service, especially Nina, was top notch, and, above all, Boris, who handled my move was phenomenal.

Boris and Carlos arrived earlier, were incredibly professional, and handled my move with care and precision. I will undoubtedly be calling Boris again for every future move. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I hired Otter for a last minute move (less than 2 weeks notice) within Long Island City / Queens. They offered a very reasonable and competitive price. Truck 34 (David & team) was assigned to my move. They were very punctual, professional and efficient, and able to squeeze in a few additional boxes with no additional cost. I am very grateful for their help making my move very smooth and would definitely recommend them to my friends!

Alex’s team delivered an outstanding experience from start to finish. Max was incredibly efficient, providing a quick quote over the phone and making sure I got the best possible price. Communication was excellent—they were very responsive with updates on their ETA, and even arrived ahead of schedule.

Alex truck #19 was phenomenal. We were dreading this move and they made the whole process so easy! We moved into a 3 bedroom apartment and they moved all our furniture/stuff in one go. Wrapped each item up for us and delivered it to each room in the new apartment. Brought extra boxes for us and were prepared for everything we needed. Took great care of everything. Would recommend!

I had an excellent experience with Otter Movers and wanted to share my appreciation. The two movers were polite, professional, and clearly knew how to handle every challenge that came up.

The living room furniture included a 7-piece sectional with legs that were very difficult to remove, and they took the extra time, about an additional hour to carefully handle it without any issues. Their patience and attention to detail really stood out.

The bedroom set (queen bed with mattress and box spring, dresser, nightstand, and 65-inch TV stand) was completed quickly and efficiently. Even more impressive, everything was delivered and set up across two locations: the bedroom furniture in the Bronx and the living room furniture in Staten Island.

These guys were extremely knowledgeable and worked seamlessly as a team. Everything was set up perfectly, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish.

The movers were punctual and were very quick with packing as well as loading and unloading into the new apartment. All the boxes were labeled which made it easier to unpack afterwards. They even did us a little favor with bringing a daybed downstairs. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Nemanja Kalezic and Luis were our movers and they were awesome. Super friendly, helpful, and really efficient. They handled everything (big and small) with no issues and made the whole move feel easy. Would definitely recommend and will be using them again for future moves!

Otter Moving was so smooth from when I booked my move to when they dropped off the last item! Smooth easy and transparent. The movers did everything in under two hours and even arrived a few minutes early so I didn’t have to wait for them. Balsa arrived right on time and was professional from start to finish. The team worked quickly and efficiently, and communication was smooth and easy throughout the entire process. Milos and his partner were so kind and efficient. They moved me out of my 2 bed apartment in 1 hour and into a 1 bed in 2 hours- all assembly included. They were also patient when I asked them to rearrange my living room.

On move out day they noticed my filing cabinet was broken and took the time to fix it for me (without my asking) before leaving on move in day.

I'm glad I chose Otter for my specific need, storage for 1-2 weeks to lessen the items for my official move out. Boris and Roberto make a great team! They communicated and coordinated with each other very smoothly. I didn't have a lot of items for storage, but they were fast and efficient, whole pick up and loading lasted within 30 minutes! Highly recommended.

Gregory and his team were beyond fantastic. I have had a previous bad experience with movers/companies, I shared as much with Tom, who was the Otter booking representative. Tom listened and reassured, but I still wasn't sure what type experience it might be. Then the truck arrived, and from moment one, Gregory and team were kind, polite, professional, efficient, and communicative, so much so that they did not feel like strangers just marching about. Rather, they felt like trusted guides, getting everything I had packed up taken care of. The day brought some unexpected challenges (weather, traffic, NYC DOT deciding to tar and pave my street), but the ability to easily pivot and adapt made even these hiccups smooth. I dont like moving. Full stop. But I loved moving with Gregory and the Team from Otter.

Adam from Otter was wonderful in scheduling my brother’s move that included 3 stops. The men were courteous, polite, efficient, hard workers and so nice and patient. Wrapped furniture perfectly. Packed the truck with respect to the 3 stops. Very organized.

Luke was super helpful and communicative with me leading up to our move day, and Peter and Sebastian were brilliant on the day. They were punctual, efficient and they left the place in great shape with all the furniture put together where we needed it.

Laki was the team leader with Daniel and Jose. They did a great job working from 8 am to 8:40 pm. They were very professional and organized. They were very systematic in how they packed everything and nothing was damaged. They told us to relax while they sweated it out.

I used otter moving for the first time this month (long-distance move) and they were absolutely tremendous. My only knock against them is that there's not much communication between when you book them and the day before your move, but, once they reach out to confirm the move, they are READY. My move was seamless. The team was professional, caring, efficient, and affordable!

The team arrived on time, and handled all of my items, through our random mini heat wave. Pricing was straightforward and in line with what was quoted.
While there’s always room for small improvements, I would consider using them again and would recommend them to others looking for a reliable moving service.

Moved this week and the process with Otter was seamless. Got a quote very quickly, movers showed up on time, and all my belongings were handled with care. I shopped for various quotes and Otter was the most affordable! Definitely will use them again for my next move.

Had a great move with the otter team. They were punctual and professional and quick. They let me store my belongings for free for 3 weeks and helped me accomplish two moves. The team was efficient and polite. I would recommend them as a moving company to anyone!

Great guys on the job. Why 1 star? I was quoted a 2 piece move (2 full size refrigerators). One up from garage to first floor…and one from the first floor out to side of house (7 front steps up to first floor). No issues with maneuvering room. I added a small AC to the move (garage to first floor). The entire job took 40 min…including the bickering that they came 1 hour past time window, seven signatures on the paperwork and credit card processing.

While my agreement was a binding one I could not wrap my head around time it took for the job vs. what I paid. Scott explained it all to me. Regardless of the explanation, they could have taken off $75 in good faith. They didn’t. Oh well. That’s the way it is.

Thing is? I asked Scott if he brought his car in for brakes and was quoted and charged 2 hours labor for the job, but they did the job in 40 minutes, how would he feel…he said he’d feel “very happy”.

You can hire Verrazano Movers if you wish, but be aware of minimums and/or by the piece move quotes vs. job times to complete…you may not be “very happy”.

Nemanja and Luis were great help. They packed up most of my stuff and moved it all from Kips Bay to Hell’s Kitchen in 2 hours. The storage unit had some elevator issues toward the end of the move so they carried the mattress down a flight of stairs too.
