I recently moved from LIC to Astoria and Team 30 assisted my move. They were an incredible team. Extremely polite and efficient. They moved all my stuff so fast, they came into my apartment and within an hour and half it was empty. They also did a great job at transporting my plants! They were priced so well compared to other estimates I received from other competitors in NYC that were several hundred dollars more. I was so happy with their pricing! They took great care of my furniture, everything was wrapped super well, ultimately I’m so happy I went with Otter! I would highly recommend!

I was recommended by my colleague and used the service for moving to hershey from nyc.I spoke with Hans who organised everything . I sent them the pictures of all the items and recieved a very reasonable quote. I had called few other movers as well ,the quote i got was considerably higher. On the day of the move they arrived on time . The guys were very friendly, careful in packing and very efficient in time management. This was unlike the previous movers who were inexperienced and wasting the time just to make some extra money. I requested a.over.night move , all the items were delivered on time , undamaged . They asked for each item where to be.placed. and finished the job on time. Miles.and Sergey did.a fantastic job .special.mention to Hans for arranging everything will use their service again and would recommend to anyone who want to use their service.

Customer service is incredibly important to me, especially being in a customer-facing field myself. I understand the nuances of creating a calm, stress-free environment for clients, and that’s exactly what I experienced here. They truly exceeded my expectations.

He sent the best crew—Milos and Denis—who had that same steady, reassuring temperament and genuinely wanted to take care of everything so I could have complete peace of mind.

The moving crew did an absolutely amazing job from start to finish. They arrived right on time and immediately got to work. They handled both the packing and unpacking quickly and efficiently, while still being extremely careful with all of my belongings. Everything went so smoothly and stress-free thanks to their organization, teamwork, and professionalism. They were respectful, friendly, and made the entire process so much easier than I expected. On top of that, they cleaned up after themselves and left everything neat, organized, and exactly where I wanted it. I truly appreciate their hard work and dedication. I will definitely be using this moving company for all of my future moves and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional team.

The best moving service i’ve ever used. I booked last minute because the original company I had booked cancelled on me 4 days prior to my move with no notice or reason. Otter Moving and Storage was not only able to get my move scheduled on the day and time that I preferred, but also able to offer me a great rate, even though it was a last minute booking. Customer service was amazing and they were so helpful through the whole process. The movers showed up on time and worked at a fast pace while ensuring all of my belongings were protected. I was truly shocked at how quick they were, even in the heat we’re experiencing. I’m glad I found an amazing company that I can trust with my future moves. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

I needed a moving company and reached out for a quote and got a call back within a few minutes, and was able to finalize by end of call! The representatives were super helpful and the price were very affordable for such a big move.
The two movers I got were literally early and extremely careful with my boxes. I had heavy stuff and they didnt have one damaged box or furniture.
I recommended them for both my move and fiance and will be letting everyone know about them for future moving purposes. The process was without hassle start to finish!

These guys were absolutely top-notch. I emailed about a quote, was given an itemized form, they called to confirm items, and I got a quote within the hour.

They followed up a few days before the move to confirm everything and included the quote which I could update with my new inventory to make sure it was still in line with the original quote.

The night before, the move team texted and were able to arrive even earlier than I had hoped. The team of three showed up at 7am, had everything (and we had a lot of stuff!) loaded up by 10am. They provided blankets to wrap furniture, extra boxes for oddly shaped items, and were super communicative during the process. We had extra items, so they communicated the extra fees and had the main office contact me to confirm the pricing (totally fair pricing because we did have a lot of items) before charging the extra amount.

Then they arrived at our new place minutes after us, parked the van on a very difficult street and managed to get all of our items up three flights of stairs, bed set up, and extra items in the storage in the basement all in about 2-3 hours.

They were great! Nice guys, no isssues!

I don’t usually leave reviews, especially for moving companies, but Zach Jurisevic absolutely earned this one. I called already planning to go with another company, but Zach’s professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine customer service completely changed my mind. He gave me real peace of mind during a stressful process and offered a great price without any pressure. Because of him, I switched to Otter and I’m very glad I did. Highly recommend asking for Zach.

The move with Truck #30 crew (Blazo, Uros, and Michelle) was a pure breeze and the best one I’ve ever had! I’m not saying that lightly as I moved 15-20 time over my life, both within the US and internationally, and had all kind of good and bad experiences. The guys were very friendly, and worked fast, efficiently, and with utmost care for my belongings. All the furniture, electronics, and paintings were properly packed and transported without any damage and unpacked and setup in my new place. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I wholeheartedly recommend Otter Moving & Storage (especially Truck #30) for any of your moving needs in the NYC/NJ area!

Otter were recommended to me by a work colleague and also a friend, who’d both used them. Their price was way better than all the other quotes we got. Paul in the office went through every detail we needed and really listened and his follow up was perfect. On moving day Bernardo and Teo were FANTASTIC!!!! They texted in advance to say they were on the way, they took so much care wrapping our furniture and they worked so efficiently and fast. They even packed everything in to our temporary storage unit so it fit perfectly. Great people, super efficient, courteous and good humour too. Best moving company we’ve used and we’d definitely use them again. Highly recommended.

Amazing service. Will definitely be my primary choice for any moving job. Everything was smooth, professional. Mr. Shawn was very understanding and made sure I was set. The 2 movers that were assigned to me were Louis and nemanja. Let me tell y'all something, for a last minute move in this horrible cold weather, these 2 were amazing!!!!!! You can tell they worked with their heart. I didnt need to lift a finger. They came in, and started right away. And they worked with such grace and kindness. Im so grateful to them. Thank you so much Otter!!

Genuinely shocked at all the positive reviews for this company. Otter has been hands down the worst moving experience I have ever had after 20 years of living in this city.

We were moving to a unit in the same building, literally one floor up, and the movers STILL brought stuff to the street and started packing the truck? This was after David (one of the movers, if you get him, keep an eye on him) try to tell me that the move may take one to two hours more than originally quoted. If feels like they made a decision to try and swindle me before they even showed up.

They scratched our new walls, didn't wrap anything. Just awful customer service and an awful experience.

I cannot recommend Alex and Stoyan from Otter Moving enough! I had to move in the freezing cold, dead of winter, and these guys were absolute champions.

Moving in NYC is stressful enough, but doing it in sub-zero temperatures is a different beast. Alex and Stoyan were incredibly kind, professional, and had a great attitude despite the bitter cold. Most importantly, they were fast—they didn't let the weather slow them down for a second and handled all my belongings with total care.

If you’re looking for movers who are reliable, efficient, and genuinely nice people to work with, ask for Alex and Stoyan. They made a difficult winter move feel like a breeze.
(Also ~ Nobody could beat Otter's quote and I didn't even have to negotiate a price)

We booked Otter Moving through Chad. He was very communicative throughout the whole process. We rented plastic bins, added inventory as we packed, and gave us clear price estimate with email confirmations. They called to confirmed the day before. Our move date coincided with the snow storm. Four guys showed up with shovels, they had to shovel to space for their truck on the street without complaint. They introduced themselves as George and his crew. The whole move took 5.5 hours. They packed our large items nicely (tv, console, mattress, table, etc). They disassembled our bed frame and dining table, and reassembled it in our new apartment. They moved the items to the proper rooms so we don't have the lug the boxes ourselves. Moving is already so stressful, so having them being efficient and communicative was just what we needed. Moved from in a coop building to another building with tons of rules. Bravo to George and his crew!

We needed movers for our heavy future; bedroom set, sectional, media stand, and dining table. Bojan and his team went above and beyond while helping us. They were thorough and efficient but most importantly very kind hearted. One of our pieces was very difficult to get out and they went above and beyond to ensure we safety got all our items to the new place. Words can’t describe my appreciation for Bojan and his team’s dedication and friendly behavior.

Otter Movers are really great 👍 company they are hands on with your things and very careful and have respect for your things. I felt so sorry for the guys because it was a fourth floor walk up wow they took things from upstairs to the first floor with no problem hands on great. They were very careful with My furniture and the rest of my belongings. The packing was great. Everything was smoothly. They have respectful and it was done. Super Duper fast. I’m very happy with my move and I came into my new place that has an elevator and they put the furniture where you would like it. They’re so smooth with things very humble and sweet guys. The guys was really sweet.

Otter Moving made my Manhattan to Queens move very smooth! I called about a week in advance and as I only had a few items, Tom quoted me a very reasonable price and ensured movers were able to serve within the required timings of my buildings.

Additionally, Alex’s team was very communicative and let me know when they were on the way and arrived at both locations. The move was quick, smooth and professional. I would definitely move with Otter Moving in the future.
