I just used Otter Moving to move from NYC to Baltimore. The movers literally just left and I had to write a review because they were fantastic. Team 40 took great care of my move. They were punctual, friendly, and the most efficient movers I’ve had. That’s saying a lot because I have moved almost every year of my adult life and usually use professional movers.

The guys at Otter Moving were top notch. Luke was very helpful in finding us a reasonable rate and booked our move quickly. David, van #34, and his colleague were extremely helpful and kind. They went above and beyond with their service and got the work done with time to spare.

We had a fantastic experience moving with Otter! The reps were so helpful and responsive during the quote/setup process and the movers were fantastic - efficient while careful and thorough. No broken items and no extra unexpected charges at the end. Would recommend!

Otter made my move super easy and low stress. Ahead of the move I was communicating with Alex who was so helpful and responsive, I could reach him by phone, text, or email. They gave me the COIs I needed within a day. My movers were Boris and another whose name I didn’t catch, they were very efficient and took about 2 hrs to move a bedroom worth of stuff, start to finish. They were kind, patient through elevator delays, and never once complained about the stairs or heavy boxes. Would recommend to anyone and would use Otter again!!

Alex and Rodrigo absolutely rocked it. They were efficient, polite, speedy, helpful, and overall went above and beyond. They definitely knew what they were doing and I am incredibly grateful for the extra help they provided in going so far as removing and reinstalling my doors in order to get this dresser in a tight spot. I’ll be using Otter whenever I move next and will definitely be recommending to friends. Well done!

Peter and Sebastian did a fantastic job packing and moving me across town! I would 100% hire them to move me again in the future. They were super communicative, punctual and had a very positive attitude during the entire process! They made the entire process so easy from start to finish!

My move was pretty smooth, and Marco and team were extremely efficient in completing the move on time. I would use this service again when needed. Also has the best price quotes in the market.

And miles helped me with the whole quote and coordination, and was very diligent and quick responses which helped me overall.

Viktor and Angel from #41 were best in class movers — they took the care to wrap and secure all my belongings, all the while being speedy and efficient. They were also super friendly and earnest people, something that is not always easy to find, and especially important when they are handling your life’s valuables (I’ve learned this the hard way through the last 10 years of moving every single year)

From the start to finish of this process, Otter has been professional and easy-to-work with in a way that would make me choose them over ZeroMax or Piece of Cake!

Nemanja and Luis did such a careful and fast job moving the furniture around our apartment. Unfortunately one item they bumped into fell, but otter moving is taking care of replacing it for us, which shows incredible integrity on their part. This is my second time working with the company, and I will happily continue to work with them going forward, especially if the movers are like Nemanja and Luis!

I really appreciated David and his partner’s service for my move today (truck number #34)! It was a highly pleasant experience - very efficient and friendly.

From the initial sales quote to the actual move, everything was full of positivity and done with professionalism. The price is fair, move was hassle-free. Honestly the best movers I could ask for. I also like the fact that they have their own storage unit - it suits my needs perfectly.

Btw, I’d like to reemphasize how promptly everything was handled - I called very last minute in a bit of emergency situation; my call was immediately answered and the movers showed up on time. I can’t say thank you enough.

They were amazing!!!!! Second time ever using movers, first time working with Otter and I will DEFINITELY keep them in mind for the future. Their quote system was the most straightforward and transparent and every phone call and text conversation was so courteous and helpful! The quote breakdown they give is EVERYTHINGGG 🙂‍↕️💯 Truly the best. They also gave me such a good quote, esp considering it was a last minute and an end-of-the-month move. And on the day of they were very quick moving while still very courteous with my items! They were also very understanding with any on-site adjustments that were needed on the day of.

Had a great overall experience using Otter for a recent local move! Communication was seamless from the initial quote, booking, and move in day. The final price was also very reasonable for everything I needed (moving bins, special handling, disassembly/re-assembly etc).

Boris and Jose arrived promptly, were very friendly and worked so efficiently! They were able to move my items up a flight of very narrow stairs, and everything is in perfect condition.

Moving can be a nightmare, but Otter Moving & Storage made it seamless. The team arrived on time and immediately got to work. They wrapped my furniture with care and finished the entire 2-bedroom move in under 4 hours. Friendly, polite, and hardworking from start to finish. Thank you guys.

Big shout out to Ogi and Gogi! Let me start off by saying I have never had an easier moving experience and i've moved A LOT. Ogi and Gogi are what I would call a dream team. Amiable people who showed up on time and got right to work handling all my things with care. They work so well together to make the move as efficient as possible with no time wasted. The pair swiftly made it to the drop off location, unboxed, and placed everything where I needed it to go. Items were properly protected. I had no worries during the whole process, lucky to have this crew! 10/10 would recommend!

Not the best movers ive ever had, but also not the worst. Were super passive aggressive towards me when they realized I had more items than expected (estimated 60 items, was closer to 100).

I offered to pay the difference for the extra items and they said it was no problem. But it WAS a problem bc they had sour attitudes the rest of the time. Then, very abruptly, they told me they werent going to move any more items and they were going to leave in 5 min.

Ultimately wish they had just communicated up front about their capacity. Ended up having to leave multiple boxes, plants and furniture on the curb bc they were leaving and i had to meet them at the next location.

For $1,500 i expected more.

But the passive aggressive attitude was so unprofessional and made an already stressful day even more stressful. Unfortunately I probably wouldn't recommend to a friend.

Boris and Jose were so friendly and very efficient at the move, it all went very smoothly and they took great care not to damage anything. They were also very patient when there was a mix up out of our control at the drop off location meaning the service elevator was delayed - didn’t cause a fuss and got the job done with ease.

Doorman even commented what great movers they were comparatively to all that he sees. Have always had a good experience with Otter.

Otter was great from the beginning. Affordable, transparent pricing. They were very responsive, punctual with bin drop-off and were always in communication. Move day went smooth with Ogie, Mika and their team. They worked hard, quick and were friendly throughout the entire process. I would use them for a move again!

I would like to shout out Boris and Jose! Boris was so kind, helpful, great front facing customer service. He answered all of my questions and was kind in the process. Would definitely recommend him and services of otter moving to anyone!

I will also say that I shopped around a couple of places and otter moving, gave me the better deal by at least $200! 🎉🎉

We moved with the help of Nemanja and Luis. We were leaving a 5-floor walk up (no easy feat!!!) and they kept up the good energy all the way. They were so fast and so nice - great guys, great work, and we would definitely move with Otter again.

Mike, Ogi, Milos and Denis made our family’s move from NYC to Vermont a straightforward and seamless process. They were incredibly kind, professional and efficient as they helped us move TWO trucks (35 and 49) full of items to a new home. I used Otter for a move across the neighborhood recently, and am very impressed. Everything from the price quoting to final clean-up went seamlessly and with professional ease. After having dealt with other NYC movers in the past I was a bit leery of the process. I had shady dealing with last minute fees, aggressive pushy sales tactics and damaged furniture. Not with Otter! Miles took care of me from start to finish and with the booking and quoting to confirmation and follow up. Vanja led the team of movers and they were phenomenal. Going from a second story walk-up to the a third is no fun, and these guys powered thru and were done by lunchtime. I will be booking otter again for future moves (hopefully not for a long time!).

I also recommend using their green plastic bins in lieu of boxes. Much more secure, much easier to pack, and best of all, no garbage!

Great experience. I would 💯 recommend this moving company. The gentleman were EXTREMELY EFFICIENT and very kind. They made this experience very easy for me. I wish I got all their names. I believe one gentleman was named Vanja and two Spanish gentleman were awesome. Dan the representative that helped me was great and very patient with any questions.
