They are fast, kind and handle everything with care. Great price each time. Team 30 (headed by Blazo) did an amazing job. Packing/moving can be one of the more stressful things to deal with in life, but the team masterfully packed everything in the apartment and transported everything safely. Could not be any happier with the move and will absolutely be recommending OMS to all of my friends.
Incredibly bad experience. Extremely rude to my extremely nice doormen. Bad communication with the company - in the call they forced me to book hourly - which I assume means work until done - but when they showed up said they had a strict deadline and would do what they could. Fortunately they finished the move in time but that was the only good thing.
They were totally careless, banged my belongings against the walls, scratched up my furniture. Almost knocked over a table and tried to blame me for not explaining (??) how my sofa disassembles. It’s an ikea sofa, surely they’ve moved them before? Dropped my clothes on the ground. Pressured to tip. Would never consider using again.
At least when Piece of Cake fleeces you they’re polite about it.

So grateful for Otter Moving's patience, understanding, and flexibility during my move yesterday. The last 24 hours prior to the move were pretty stressful since I didn’t receive final approval from my building until the morning of the move, but their team handled everything calmly and professionally, which I truly appreciated.

this is our first time using a moving company and we werent sure what to expect, but we had a wonderful experience and would recommend Otter to everyone! we moved today from our 1BR brooklyn apt into another 1BR in queens. movers showed up around 8:50, finished the entire move by 11:30. incredible speed and efficiency. we are two adults with a baby and a dog, and had a considerable amount of small items that needed to be packed into an extra 7 boxes, which they handled graciously. they helped us unload at the new space and were very considerate of where we wanted everything. thank you so much for everything!

Had very smooth experience with them, from getting the quote to confirming the appointment to the moving day. Nik and couple other guys did the move for me, he was really patient in wrapping and dissembling the furniture. My building had issues with the service elevator so they had to wait around for longer than expected, but Nik didn’t say a word. I’m very happy with the whole experience, service was great.

Well, OMS was exceptional! From my first (of many) calls to Ross, including rescheduling and estimation of items, to follow-up and more. On the day of the move Bernardo arrived, right on time, with his team Jorge, Teo and Andres. A few minutes to show them around and they got busy in a hurry. At every moment they were polite, professional and considerate of everything.

Everyone I've spoken to here has been super nice and reasonable. I worked with them for a recent move and undershot my original quote by a lot. My cost increased quite a bit as a result, but their claims team was willing to work with me to resolve a few discrepancies and provide a refund.
My biggest piece of advice for anyone working with a company like this is to be painstakingly accurate with your inventory to protect yourself from day-of cost increases.

Truck number 1, Mika, Ogi and Zlatko — efficient, attentive, and quick. They moved a large 1 bedroom in less than 2 hours. Tons of furniture and lots of boxes, half the cost I was expecting and the cheapest I could find (was looking for movers with less than a weeks notice). All in all a great quick easy moving experience!
I think that everyone is always a little nervous about a move as there are always horror stories, but Otter Moving communicated with me appropriately, showed up on time and did exactly what they said they would and for the fair price that was agreed to.
There were no surprise charges. No bait and switch tactics. Just make sure you tell them exactly what you need to be moved and that the inventory matches up with the written estimate. This goes for any move with any company.
There’s not much more you can ask for from a moving company.

Best moving company I have come across (the third one I've tried) in NYC. Quote was much cheaper than other companies. Temo and his team did a great job with the move. Novak did a great job on the logistics/quote.
I left about a ~35% tip because 1) I had some extra items, 2) there was an unforeseen set of stairs, and 3) the movers didn't bother me the entire time (and didn't whine about how they expected a big tip because of how hard the move was, etc.).
Working with Otter moving was one of the best and easiest decisions I ever made. Alex’s team arrived right on time and worked so fast to get everything moved. The experience was so so wonderful from start to finish.
