I had the best moving experience with Otter. I specifically worked with crew 32, Sloba and Peter, on move day. The team was very efficient, arrived on time, very polite / kind, and went out of their way to make my moving experience easy. I recommend Otter moving company to any and all friends and family! It was truly a pleasure working with them. Even when I made a mistake with timing, Luke (person booked with) was so kind to accommodate a last minute change. Through and through am very pleased with my move.

I can’t say enough great things about Otter! From start to finish, they made our move completely stress-free. The team was incredibly efficient, professional, and careful with every item they handled. They arrived on time, worked quickly without cutting corners, and treated our belongings as if they were their own. Everything was packed, moved, and placed exactly where it needed to be, and not a single thing was damaged. The crew was friendly and hardworking.

My husband and I had a fantastic experience with Otter Moving. Like many New Yorkers, we'd heard our fair share of moving horror stories, so we spent a lot of time combing through Reddit and other review sites before choosing a company. My husband had also had a few bad moving experiences himself, so our expectations were cautious to say the least. After reading so many glowing reviews of Otter, we almost wondered if they were too good to be true, but they ABSOLUTELY lived up to the hype. From requesting a quote, to scheduling, to moving day itself, the entire process was seamless. Otter made what is usually a stressful experience feel easy.

On the actual move-in day, our movers were incredibly kind and unbelievably efficient. We were amazed at how quickly they packed, transported, and unloaded all of our belongings into our new apartment. Even though we weren't moving very far, we were blown away that the entire move of a two-bedroom apartment was completed in under two hours. A special shoutout to Vanja and his crew for going above and beyond. They listened to all of our concerns and requests, handled everything with care, and made us the most relaxed we had been in all the weeks leading up to our move.

We had a very good experience with our move. Borut and Dwayne were very hard-working and efficient. They did a great job of protecting furniture and items being moved. Our move involved putting the items into storage, and they did an amazing job of getting everything safely and securely into the space. Very positive and pleasant to work with. Definitely made this move go well.

Just finished up a local move with Otter, and a big thank you to both Nemanja and Luis! These two were both so hard working to make this move as swift and thorough as possible. Complicated staircases and oddly shaped furniture were no match for these two while moving!

The most professional moving company I've used in my eight years in New York. The majority of my furniture is designer or vintage and they made sure to take extra measures to ensure everything was protected during the load-out/load-in. From booking with Novak to day of moving with Daniel’e team, everything was so seamless and easy. Cannot express my gratitude enough!

The biggest thank you to Kjemal and his partner for an excellent experience with the move! They were on time, professional, and even kind during this stressful time. All of my items were packed efficiently and safely, and they were speedy at the origin and destination locations. They followed all precautions well and I did not have to stress about anything. The wardrobe boxes were an amazing addition, and they placed all of my items where I would like them. They were very attentive, and checked in with me throughout the whole process to make sure everything was accounted for and matched my prefences.

Peter and his crew on truck 57 knocked it out. It was a hot day, lots of traffic, a complex pickup location and his team beautifully handled our move that included stairs and delicate furniture. Though they were so tired, they remained friendly and I didn’t get the sense they rushed through the end. I’d hire Otter again to get him and his crew for sure. Thought

I had a really great experience with Otter. Ogi and Gaga were amazing, super professional, efficient, careful with everything, and made the move way less stressful. They showed up on time, worked quickly, and handled all my furniture with a lot of care. Definitely would use them again and highly recommend asking for Ogi and Gaga if you book with them.

I truly could not have made this move happen without their help. Huge thanks to Viktor and Angel on truck number 41. I still can’t believe how they managed to lift and move my heavy desk, sofa, and mattress almost entirely by themselves. I couldn’t even lift some of those items for one inch on my own. They were incredibly strong, professional, efficient, and careful throughout the entire move. Show up on time and able to manage everything! It honestly felt like they had superpowers. Haven't had to move apartments in NYC since coming to the city in 2016, so I dreaded the thought of having navigate the intricacies of the moving process. The team from Otter made this move easier than I expected. The communications from Peter were clear and concise for follow-up. Boris and Djordje, my moving team the day of, did a great job managing a move from a walk-up apartment in a busy Manhattan neighborhood. They were able to move around the tight corridors and corners carrying relatively heavy boxes and furniture and kept everything in great condition even in the rain! Appreciate their efforts on this holiday weekend, thanks for making it so pain free! Would use again in the future.

I cannot recommend Otter Moving highly enough. I needed them to move a myriad of extremely large, unwieldy, fragile and abnormally heavy items out of our UWS apartment; then head downtown to an old walk-up to carefully pack a rare and delicate twelve-foot-high antique mirror and haul it down multiple steep flights of absolutely hazardous steps; then drive all of it 90 minutes north of NY on the Friday afternoon of a holiday weekend; then unload it all at a rather complicated location where they placed everything where asked and meticulously unpacked and situated the tall vintage mirror atop yet more steps. It all went more smoothly than I dared hope or expect.

I was fortunate enough to be assigned Sloba and Petar, Crew #32, who arrived right on time; were extremely polite and friendly; were respectful and careful with each item; were diligent in every respect, and accommodating with last-minute changes. Bryan, who was my Moving Consultant, was genial and attentive during each of the multiple interactions I had with him in the days leading up to the Move, including checking-in with me during the Move itself to ensure all was running smoothly. Together, they all made the entire dreaded event an absolute pleasure and I will without doubt employ them again in the future.

Stefan and Marco were truly amazing. They helped us move from Astoria, Queens to our new home in New Paltz, and we couldn’t have asked for a better duo. Highly recommend! We were with team Alex and the two movers were professional, efficient, and handled everything with so much care.
