Otter made my move so easy this past weekend! Phil was so helpful with providing quotes & the COI forms my landlord requested. Then Luka & Stefan were so great on both ends of the move! Very kind, efficient & did a great job even on a day when it was flash flooding for most of the first half of the move & the drive. I wouldn’t have had such a seamless day without using Otter. Highly recommend!

Kemo and Alex arrived ahead of schedule with big smiles so I knew I was in good hands. They packed my 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment so efficiently - I was beyond impressed. Moving after being here 10 years is already stressful and these guys made it much less so. Thank you!

Vuk and Daniel, in truck #29 helped me move. They were so fast, friendly and professional. I was truly surprised by how quickly they were able to pack the truck and unload it in my new apartment. They were kind enough to help me try out a few locations to place my extra large mirror in the new space. They were careful with my belongings and showed respect to both buildings. The entire move took 3 hours - (including an hour of transit). These guys are very efficient and showed up bright and early with happy attitudes. I’m happy, and will certainly hire Otter for my next move.

I recently had to move on a short notice and didn’t know much about the process. Otter helped answer all of my questions, and made what’s usually a stressful process very manageable. Even when the boxes we initially requested weren’t enough, our movers, Redro and Edwin helped us pack while simultaneously preparing our furniture. The whole process was very quick, efficient, and luckily our team was very understanding and helpful, getting rid of a lot of the anxiety that comes with moving. I could not wish for a better crew, thank you to Otter Moving & Storage.

I had my first professional moving service with Otter, Luka and Stephen from truck 44 is amazing. The moving process was super quick and I didn’t have to do anything, they took care of all my stuff as I move into my first adult apartment! The pricing was super reasonable, I would definitely recommend them!

The team was communicative, prompt, and efficient. Start to finish, I knew what to expect and when. The crew that did my move (Stefan and Vasili) were so kind and thoughtful, and the person who coordinated (David) was helpful and accommodating every step of the way.

I love Otter! This was my second time using Otter for moving and I will always choose them. Boris & crew 64 worked so hard during the hot weather and less than ideal air quality and always had a smile on their face. They were so quick and amazing!!

They arrived on time, handled the furniture carefully, and dropped off safely. Otter moving was fantastic for my move. They were professional, quick, and did a great job protecting our stuff. The whole move was completed in under 4 hours, even with two stops. They were very quick to providing a Certificate of Insurance for the buildings that we needed. They also came with plenty of people to execute the move efficiently, and they were responsive to our requests for where to put stuff in our new apartment. Would recommend to others and would use them again!

Wonderful moving team! Sebastian and Gio were amazing. They were on time, worked so hard and efficiently in the horrid heat, and were absolutely so pleasant and easy to work with. The apartment is a bit funny in shape with stairs and “character” but they took it all in stride and made this move painless. On a scale of 1-10, they were a 15.

Really great service from Luca + Travis (truck 44) despite a surprise parking ban on my street and flash thunderstorm as soon as they arrived. They were polite, considerate, and efficient. Would happily recommend them both + Otter moving as a whole to anyone who wants a great experience for a reasonable and transparent price.

Travis and Luca (#44) were great. Very prompt, fast, and professional. They packed everything really well. I was also pleased with the communication from this company and the entire scheduling process. It all made my move a lot easier. I would definitely recommend.

I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. When requesting a quote, Otter reached out to me immediately and walked me through everything I needed to move. They were incredibly professional, kind, and affordable. Close to moving day, they followed up and allowed me to adjust my itemized list with ease and even reminded me about the ability to pay with a debit card to avoid the 3% service fee with credit cards.
On the day-of, Stefan and his team arrived on time (with a heads up before their arrival) and were incredibly nice and speedy. They handled my items with care and moved everything across town safely. They were patient when it took a while to find a parking space at my new apartment.
Truthfully, I would use Otter again in a heartbeat. I could not have asked for a more seamless, helpful, and stress-free experience moving.

Our experience with this company was very poor. The movers came much later than their scheduled time frame and then after taking pictures explained that there were “things on our furniture” and they weren’t able to do the move. The customer service was extremely poor and “David Pavlovic” was very rude and dismissive and would not clearly explain what was preventing the movers from starting. He spent far more time going back and forth with me that they couldn’t start and because it was late said that “typically they would charge a $250 rescheduling fee”. It was insulting for him to say that as if they weren’t the ones who would not comply with us or try to work with us after waiting all day for them. Because we had a later slot it was clear that they did not want to work late since by the time they said they couldn’t do it, it was 8pm which is a whole hour outside of the 4-7pm window we were given. On the next day two different mover came. They increased my quote by about $400 but by then I needed to move and paid them. The new movers worked quickly and efficiently. They were nice and professional and did a good job. I’m struggling to recommend this company since my experience was very mixed

This was the most stress-free move I've experienced in NYC. A friend had told me about Otter, and I gave Otter a chance. Otter has great customer service, particularly Hans and Pablo, who helped me organize the move with an accurate and prompt quote, and updated the quote in real time when I had 2 last-minute changes. The movers themselves -- Team 57 (Petar, Jesus, and third mover whose name I did not get) -- were incredibly professional, understanding, efficient, and friendly, and I would want them to help me again in the future. No broken glasses, no damaged furniture. Would definitely use again and refer to friends.

Otter did a great job, their pricing was transparent and the team did a great job with scheduling and talking me through what to expect for my quote price. They were very available and quick to respond to my questions.

On the actual moving day, Alex from truck 60 and his crew did a great job. They were speedy, professional and handled my items with care. My furniture was packed very well and the team was in and out quickly and efficiently. They made the move easy and I would definitely book them again and recommend to friends.

They are very thorough during the quoting process and pre-move tasks. Early and prompt on the actual move day, and VERY fast. Moved an entire 1 bedroom in a 3rd floor walkup, including 2 couches and full size bed + bed frame in less than 3hours, . Highly recommend

Amazing movers! Miles & Daniel were amazing in helping me move my furniture. Especially with two movers, everything was moved safely and quickly. The move was truly quick and efficient. I appreciate their support and kindness throughout. 10/10 would recommend these guys.

I needed someone at the last minute (two days prior) for an in-town move, and Otter made it happen. They were excellent to work with, and the guys they sent for the move were great. Kemo was a good mover and Nihad was good sales rep to work with for a last minute move out + storage in Ridgewood and separate move-in to Sunnyside. Had a studio’s worth of things. They waived a storage fee since they were going to store things just for a few days. Price was an agreed flat fee and reasonable. Recommend having an accurate list of all items and photos if possible for movers to get the most accurate quote

I was extremely satisfied with the entire moving process. I would like to thank Shawn for helping me throughout the process and making everything go smoothly. On the moving day, Balsa and Jose handled the move professionally. They worked quietly, efficiently, and quickly, which made the whole experience stress-free.

If I ever need to move again in the future, I will definitely choose this company without hesitation. I did not experience any of the usual stress that comes with moving day. I am someone who rarely writes reviews, but I truly wanted to leave one for this experience.

Viktor and Angel in Truck 41 were incredible! On one of the hottest days of the summer, they handled all of my belongings with great care while working efficiently and professionally. Despite the extreme heat, they completed the move quickly without compromising the quality of their work.

Otter Movers were so helpful! They worked efficiently and quickly, despite extreme heat. They were very organized, making sure they didn’t miss anything on the inventory list. Miles was great to work with. He was very communicative and made sure that everything was organized for our move. I highly recommend for anyone needing movers. I will be sure to use them again when our next move happens.

This is the second time I’ve used Otter and cannot imagine using any other moving company. The first time they moved a large piece of artwork from Manasquan, NJ to my apartment in Brooklyn. They were incredibly transparent with costs, fees, time frame…and moved the item with immense care.
More recently, I had a move from a 2nd floor walk up in Brooklyn to a Jersey City high rise. And again, full transparency with no surprises, incredibly fast and efficient (I also hired them to do partial packing and I should have just had them do it all), handled everything with care. During move in they set up everything that needed to be set up and organized my boxes by room. Without a doubt, their prices are fair, and the peace of mind is invaluable. If you’re looking for a moving company stop here, ignore everyone else. Otter is just fantastic.
