They moved us out of our 1 bed + den in just a few hours, figured out the street parking just fine, wrapped everything up and protected everything fragile. It was so seamless, we’re seriously hiring them again for all of our moves!

Hands down the best moving company in NYC in all regards. They provide the best pricing and friendliest service. Incredibly communicative and flexible throughout the whole moving process and they facilitated two moves for us with 15 days of storage in between. All of our items (including many fragile ceramics and very thin wine glasses) were moved with care and arrived in perfect condition. Would recommend them to anyone in NYC looking for movers, we could not have had a better experience!

As everyone, packing and moving was very stressful for me and I was a mess packing as I was supposed to pack in the boxes but there were multiple grocery bags instead. However, Otter staff were so nice and put the bags in their boxes and move them in one go without damaging anything. They pack my mattresses, TV and mirror so well too. Needless to say, they were super fast packing as well as unpacking and reassembling things. The move only took like 2 and 1/2 hours including more than 1 hour in traffic. The price was very reasonable and they were very efficient too, I’m definitely using the service if I were to move again.

Aleksander & Luka did a great job! So professional and nice and all my stuff arrived safely. They were the most cost efficient options as well after I called 4-5 companies! Would definitely book again!!

I also used Otter Movers a few months after and Zlatko, Milos and Ognjen were great as well. Our move was extra painful considering both buildings were 4-5 flight walk ups!! Otter movers consistently gives the best prices for moves and does everything with a happy attitude and attention to detail!

Otter Moving and Storage offers a very competitive price and an excellent service. The staff are attentive and responding quickly to any of my concerns. 10/10 experience! Worked with Stan to get a really reasonable quote and Mez on moving day. Everything was super quick and efficient and they were super careful with all my furniture! No extra fees on moving day. The whole move (from 5 floor walk up to 4th floor walk up 30 mins away) took just under 3 hours. Cannot recommend enough!

It had been 5 years since my last move and the previous movers that I used left quite a lot to be desired, so I was particularly picky when it came to selecting movers this time around. I must’ve spoken to over 15 different moving companies, but Otter stood out. Peter was extremely communicative, understanding, and reassuring given the strict timing and COI requirements for the condo buildings that I was moving to/from. I never had an issue getting in touch and always had all of my questions answered in detail. I had to add a few items to my move inventory at the last minute and the updated quote was still beyond reasonable. When it came to the move itself, the four movers with their truck arrived right on time, and the entire move was completed within 4 hours without issue. Note that Otter provides flat rate quotes and honestly had the most competitive rates out there - they could not be beat. All this to say that I would highly recommend Otter Moving - they helped make an otherwise incredibly stressful and daunting move remarkably smooth!

Agris and Jose did an amazing job in moving me from my apartment( which was in a building on the 4th floor with no elevator) to a house , I also had heavy items but they never complained nor did they refused . they were on time, polite, understanding, and they understood the assignment , they left my old address ahead of me and when I arrived everything was placed exactly where I wanted it, they unboxed and cleaned up so fast it’s unbelievable . I rated this move 100/10 .. otter moving is the BEST COMPANY.if you’re looking for professionalism, quality and driven then otter moving and store is the only way to go …..

Our entire experience was seamless! I was so stressed about our move and as soon as I hopped on the call with Otter moving my worries were appeased. They walked me through the whole process and got me scheduled in no time with a very fair quote. On moving day, our team came in extremely prepared and were so efficient while still taking care with all our belongings. They truly made our experience stress-free! Highly recommend!

We chose this company bc they had all 5 star reviews. We were told we would receive 3 movers and all we needed was to move from the third floor to the fourth floor. Long story short - they sent only two movers but we paid the same price, regardless. What really gets me though is they absolutely scratched the hell out of all of our bedroom furniture. Not a couple of scratches but many gashes more than I can count. It's not like we asked them to move our furniture down three flights of stairs, put it in a truck and then move it up several flights of stairs to the second apartment. They literally were moving this furniture one floor. They gave us a small discount that wouldn't even be enough to purchase our nightstand. It really pisses me off to read all these reviews how they wrapped the furniture. MUST BE NICE TO HAVE RECEIVED THAT SERVICE. Disgusted by this company and would never use them again.

I’m missing an entire box that had valuable items.

I had Truck 19 Argus and jose move my things which was really fast. They came very early but it worked out.

They packed my items into storage and also moved the items from storage to my new apartment.

I had a box of valuable electronics which were lost but they quickly located the box and showed what caused the misplacement on their end. I ended up receiving my items the next day and appreciate the quick response

Truck 19 Agris and Jose did an amazing job with handling an overnight move for me. They worked well together and they were very efficent. They handled my belongings with care. I would highly recommend Otter Moving. They made my move seamless.

I just had the best moving experience with Otter! I moved from Brooklyn to queens and they made the process so smooth! They were highly communicative, came on time, and did not charge a bunch of hidden fees like some other companies. Highly recommended!

These guys were the best. Showed up on time and got everything done in lightning speed. Samuel and his crew were very careful w all my artwork and antiques. Customer service was also great - very responsive and accommodating. Will be using them again

We had such an incredible experience with Otter Moving! Ricky and Nemesio were our movers, and they were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They arrived right on time, were professional, kind, and worked with such efficiency while still being extremely careful with all of our belongings. They even disassembled and reassembled our couch seamlessly, which was such a huge help. Every piece of our furniture was handled with care, and they made what could have been a stressful moving day feel smooth and easy.

Had a great experience with Otter Moving. We used them for storage and delivery, and for a big full-day move. Hans was great helping me set up the moves. Both moving teams we worked with were exceptional. They were very concerned to place things the way we wanted them, and handled our fragile items and artwork really well. My moving experience was amazing! I had two guys helping me, unfortunately, I don’t remember their names, but one was Serbian and the other probably Mexican. They were absolutely fantastic! They packed everything so quickly, disassembled and reassembled my bed, and carried all my stuff up to the 3rd floor. Honestly, if I did it myself, it would have taken me two weeks! Everything went perfectly, and I was worried they might scratch the floor, but it was all handled with such care. Super happy with the whole process!

I NEVER write reviews for anything but I feel so strongly about doing one for this company because of how outstanding they were to work with. The entire process from the first call I made to the final delivery was SO easy, pleasant and they were super super communicative. Was always able to reach them via text, email and calls for any questions. We even had to reschedule our move multiple times and they happily agreed and rescheduled even with only a days notice. Milos and Ogi were the delivery men on site for move day and they were AWESOME. So so nice, quick, professional, and just just a pleasant experience all around. I’m so happy I went with my gut and hired this family business over any of the other big more well known moving companies in the city. Will only be using them moving forward for anything!!

From start to finish, they were professional, efficient, and incredibly careful with all my belongings. Ogi and Milos worked like a true team—friendly, hardworking, and clearly experienced. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was packed, loaded, and unloaded safely. What impressed me most was how quickly they worked without cutting any corners.

I had a bad experience. Very unprofessional, not enough manpower on moving day. They were unable to communicate in English. One could not understand nor speak English at all the other only broken English.
Damage to 2 designer lamps because they were packed too tightly and broke.
Response from office was slow and I had to reach out to them. The refund amount is ridiculous and does not even come close to what the replacement will cost me. We have come to a financial agreement to pay for replacement parts but only after I wrote the review.
I would never recommend or use them again.

I had the best experience working with Otter moving! From the very beginning, communication was excellent. I was able to email changes to my list of things if I decided not to bring something (or decided to keep something i was originally going to sell/donate). I was always kept apprised of the cost and there were absolutely no surprises. Adam was very thorough with everything and he responded to be so quickly! On the day before the move I got a call from a real person to confirm arrival time and take payment. The movers arrived right at the top of my move window and had me moved out/moved in so fast (under 3 hours). Both movers were lovely people and made the experience a lot less stressful. I would recommend otter to anyone needing to move. They did a great job and I couldn't be happier and more grateful.

I can’t say enough good things about Samuel and Michael from Otter Moving. As an interior designer, I work with movers all the time and this team really stood out. They treated every piece like it was their own, carefully wrapping and organizing everything with so much attention to detail. They took their time in the best way, never rushing, just making sure everything was secure and documented.

They were in an out of my apartment in less than 2 hours and swiftly brought all my boxes down, disassembled my furniture, and padded everything thoroughly with blankets. I had the absolute best moving experience with Otter!! They offer a bin delivery service a week before the move so i didn’t have to worry about buying any cardboard boxes. They also have wardrobe boxes they bring the day of the move to put your clothes directly in and can take directly out after the move. The movers were soooo fast I couldn’t believe it. And nothing broke! Will definitely use again for my next move.

Hands down the most stress-free move I’ve ever experienced. You can tell they have an airtight customer experience process from submitting the estimate through the end of move day. Simon helped coordinate the move and led me through each step. Oscar and his team executed the move like gazelles. Seriously. And they were super fast. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and professional. The owners are real people who care, too. Moving sucks but this time it was a breeze!

The movers Danny and Jerry are the reason why I would pick Otter Moving again. Both of them were very courteous and professional throughout the entire move. Had a great experience with Otter! They gave me a very fair and competitive quote for an end of July move (which, as all New Yorkers know all too well, is the most expensive time of year to move). Every other moving company was quoting me far more, so the price is what drew me to Otter. The rest of the move was seamless, which is what would make me come back to Otter again in the future. I had a great experience with Otter Moving for my NYC local move and will strongly recommend them to anyone who asks for a moving company. Duke and the Truck 5 team got my 1 bd apartment loaded, moved, and settled into my new place in record time with outstanding care.
I called around for a lot of quotes and actually was booked a month out with a different moving company until I realized that company had booked me on the wrong day only a few days before my move! Otter Moving came to my rescue, not only by being available on a few days’ notice with great pricing, but also by turning around quotes immediately, sending COIs less than an hour after I sent requirements, and quickly updating my inventory as I found more things that I needed to move. Their services are comprehensive and what were extra charges with some companies (wardrobe boxes, mats to protect furniture, etc.), Otter said “of course that’s included!”
The actual move execution exceeded all expectations. The Truck 5 team was prompt, professional, communicative, and effective. Once we’d confirmed what was moving/not and they got to work, there were whole areas of my apartment that were safely packed and loaded before I even noticed. Everything was unloaded at my destination quickly and they were a major help in getting us settled into our new place.
They'd already gone the extra mile, but to add to it, I had a pressboard dresser that I had damaged one of the legs on a long time ago. Noticing this while packing, Duke offered to reinforce it with a couple extra screws if I wanted. He added the extra hardware which matched the current screws already there and that dresser is now more solid than it's ever been!
For my next move, I will only be calling Otter Moving. Thanks again!
